Great staff and the location is right on Times Square so ideal if not manic at times. Hotel rooms, clean and beds comfy however, VERY small. Continental breakfast is poor at best and can be very busy at times. Pastries not great quality. Great roof top bar but the opening times of the main hotel bar are far too short and closed very early most… Read more

Hotel has an erotic, sexual feel to it so definitely for couples. The roof top bar has good food and drinks. Vibe is bohemian and pretty cool. I recommend the crab and avocado. However the rooms are mediocre at best. The room is about a 12x14 and includes the bathroom. There is not a closet but is a space about 12” wide to store clothes and… Read more

However the rooms are mediocre at best. The room is about a 12x14 and includes the bathroom. There is not a closet but is a space about 12” wide to store clothes and suitcase including hang up space. The AC hardly worked and the room was hot. It was 2:06pm when we arrived and they would not allow us to check in yet, saying the room wasn’t ready and they weren’t friendly about it. If this was The Peninsula, Four Seasons or one of those nicer hotels they would have checked us in. For the price of the hotel I was surprised that the bed was as somewhat plush and comfortable as it was but not as plush as the Peninsula or Four Seasons but more like a Marriott Courtyard. The location is close to the diamond district as well as Time Square so that was nice. Overall for the price and location I would say it was decent but the hotel itself is hot and the AC doesn’t work great, rooms are small and check in staff leaves much to be desired. Read less

We checked out after one night! It felt like staying in a cave with no natural light and extremely noisy air conditioning! Dark, dingy and just nope! If you want light airy and a comfortable stay, like what you would expect in a major city like New York, do not stay here! If you are looking for somewhere for 1 night, like when you go into a city… Read more

If you want light airy and a comfortable stay, like what you would expect in a major city like New York, do not stay here! Great location, comfortable bed, and friendly and helpful staff! However….do NOT stay on the 6th floor. There are two rooftop restaurants. In order to get to these, you need to go to the 6th floor, walk down the hall and stairs will take you up. Even though I called and requested a low floor for our two rooms, we were on the 6th floor right next door—which is a heavy metal door that slams every time it opens and closes. Plus, we heard everyone up and down the hallway as they were entering and exiting the restaurant. Lots of happy people laughing as they exit, which was so annoying as we went to bed before midnight — or, tried to go to sleep. Also, our a/c did not work the first night (NYC heatwave and our room was 85 degrees). Staff was very apologetic, but nowhere to move and no money taken off our bill. Read less
