Had 2 standard rooms booked & Received courtesy upgrade to 1 bedroom suite for both. We were celebrating a bday and they brought us a delicious full sized cake and wine, the other room got cheese plate and prosecco. Lounge was good, big, lots of happy hour snacks. Globalist breakfast in restaurant whatever we wanted was also good. Overall staff was very nice and friendly something i don’t often see in NYC hotels. I would recommend this hotel and definitely stay here again. Read less

Nice quiet clean great location with amazing staff. I recommend it to everyone business or leisure travelers. Gym access while gym is being renovated was granted via an in-house residence side gym as well as across the street at life time gym which was amazing. Lobby lounge very nice and comfortable

Pros: The rooms at this property are very large (especially for NYC) and nicely appointed. We were upgraded to a suite that included a sitting area with couch and small dining area, in addition to the very comfortable king bed and spacious bathroom with a walk in shower (no view). I appreciated the expresso machine and frig. The hotel is also very well located within walking distance to central park, fifth avenue, times square, rockefeller center, grand central station, etc. There is a subway stop nearby but we did not use it. Cons: Multiple entrances/exits/elevator banks/restaurant areas sharing the same lobby walkthroughs made the space feel constantly hectic and disorganized, particularly in Parkers. Wait staff were friendly but stretched thin and the food, while good, was overpriced even by manhattan standards, perhaps because many people have hotel credits through Amex or Hyatt loyalty programs which this is intended to capture...Parkers does not offer music every night, this did not seem clear from the website. We had a pleasant stay and would return (mostly for the room size and location) but the overall service levels and feel were not as luxurious as you might expect at this price point. Read less

Image of the Tripadvisor rating NYC Marathon Stay 2024

We stayed here for the NYC Marathon and it was excellent. They were able to accommodate a VERY early checkin (8:30 AM!) which was amazing after a red eye flight. The location was great, really close to subway stops as well as the marathon departure / finish areas. The room was spacious and clean, and the service was great.
