The hotel

Once a button and ribbon factory in industrial-turned-artist haven Tribeca, Walker Hotel Tribeca embodies the casual yet cool loft culture of the neighborhood with curated design and programming from boutique hotelier, Bridgeton Holdings. Drawing inspiration from Tribeca’s mid-century heyday of exclusive art galleries and silver screen entertainment, the 171 room property features timeless finishes while offering streamlined modern conveniences, sleek furnishings and stylish amenities. The hotel features three food & beverage outlets, including: lofty rooftop bar, The Flower Shop, laden with elaborate gardens and inspired by Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, a sub-cellar cocktail lounge in a hidden location that was discovered during the excavation process of the building’s conversion, Saint Tuesday, and a lobby outpost of renowned Blue Bottle Coffee.

Great hotel and good value if you're looking to stay South of Houston. Easily accessible to SoHo, Little Italy, China Town and the subway. Clean and updated, friendly staff, up to Marriott standards and services that we've come to expect as loyal members of Marriott Bonvoy.

I had a wonderful experience at the Walker Hotel Tribeca! Edwin was incredibly nice and made my stay feel warm and welcoming. The coffee barista, Manuel, was also fantastic—so kind and personable, and the coffee was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend this hotel for its outstanding service and lovely staff. Looking forward to my next visit!

If you like bussing your own table and filling your own water glass at a fine restaurant, this is your hotel. If you like bussing your own table and filling your own water glass at a fine restaurant, this is your hotel. The area was relatively quiet which was the only silver lining to a stay with no housekeeping support, a bathroom with nothing more than a sliding door offset from the wall that provided little to no privacy which if you're staying solo is of little concern, but if you're doubling up with a loved one, can be problematic. The staff genuinely seemed apologetic but as I noted, we didn't pay a premium to stay at the hotel for apologies. Read less
Image of the Tripadvisor rating Cozy/tiny room but great property!

Fab tribeca location and beautiful property! Room was labeled “cozy” during booking and was very tiny yet cozy. Not ideal for all traveler types, as I couldn’t have imagined older folks being able to navigate the bed situation. Good for solo travel I’d say.

As you may expected the room is small but can be even smaller than whatever you imagine. The room is for only for one person to sleep and being out most of time. Food and service are average. One that I really liked is the guy who takes care of luggages! I think he is Neison. I felt bad that I had no cash but he was really sweet n kind from the… Read more
