The hotel

Spanning 30 floors, at the Grand Hyatt you can gaze out over the city and, from higher levels, enjoy views of the Cascade Mountains, Lake Union and Elliott Bay. There’s a choice of dining here, including a New York-style deli and a Ruth’s Chris Steak House, so you can get your fill of prime steaks or seafood specialities, like Lobster Tail with Blackening Spices or Louisiana Seafood Gumbo. And when it comes to drinks, the newly opened Elliott Bar will quench your thirst with a nice glass of bubbles - but if you want to take it up to your room, there's Seattle's only champagne vending machine in the lobby! Chill out at the health club’s steam room, sauna or whirlpool, or wander over to the spa at the sister hotel, Hyatt at Olive 8 — its impressive range of eco-conscious treatments will leave you feeling on top of the world.

Customer service was amazing. I tried to check in early but room wasn't ready. Staff upgraded me to allow for early check-in. Hotel is dated though and old plugs or cables need to be removed. Coffee maker was not up to snuff. Starbucks downstairs is very convenient.

I could not have been more pleased with my stay here. Everyone at the hotel was so friendly. My globalist status was recognized and I was upgraded to an Emerald Suite on the second to highest floor. The room was wonderful, and the views spectacular. It was also very quiet. I normally need to use a white noise app in a hotel, but did not here. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and I slept like a baby each night here. It was so nice to stay at a property with a functional lounge (Grand Club). The staff was friendly, the food and beverage offerings solid, and more than enough space to spread out. Additionally, the gym had significantly more to offer than the typical hotel gym. It was more like a small health club, with a sauna, Jacuzzi, and locker rooms. It also has three Peloton bikes and I got some extra Hyatt points from completing a ride thanks to the partnership with Peloton. Finally, a great location, walking distance to all the major Seattle attractions and super convenient self-park. With so many full service Hyatt properties in a 3 block radius, the Grand Hyatt goes the extra mile to distinguish itself. Read less

Breakfast in this hotel is just a shame. I was expecting better experience for breakfast especially for this kind of hotel which is a 4 star hotel and where the price is already very high. However, cleanliness, location and comfort are as expected.

From the moment we pulled up to the valet stand at check in to when we left, we had nothing but positive friendly exchanges with all staff members we interacted with. Our room was clean, furnishings were well maintained, and the bed and bedding were comfortable and cozy. The Seattle Grand Hyatt is centrally located to local theaters, great bars and restaurants and shopping. We appreciated the small details like a bottle and wine opener in the room and the fun Moet Champagne vending machine in the lobby. We will making the Seattle Grand Hyatt our go to for any future stays in Seattle. Read less

We had an amazing weekend at the Grand Hyatt! Location was great, easy walk to Pike Place Market. Bed was super comfortable. We loved the hot tub (inside the gym) and had great drinks at the bar in the lobby, Shout out to Manfred who was really helpful with the reservation!
