Rooms are okay, but dining options are poor

Dining options are not good. The in-hotel options do not have allergen labeling and there are very few restaurants in the area that are open for dinner. They also do not have enough elevators and the signage for conference rooms is pretty poor. On the plus side, the rooms are nice.
Amazing Service, and Good Food!

Food here was good, service was top notch! Breakfast was really good, and staff was the next the best we have experienced. Bartender in the evening was great too! She remembered what I was drinking every time and anticipated when I was ready for another.

Very nice facility, highly recommended. Period Would recommend staying here for any of your trips to Houston, the facility is very clean updated in a very nice facility. The staff goes out of their way to help you the downstairs lobby bar pours, the best bourbon.

Not only am I a Flight Attendant, but I also double as a Front Desk Agent for a very popular and well-known hotel chain. Each time I have come to this hotel, the Staff have been very pleasant, accommodating, and helpful with checking in. My rooms have always been clean, spacious, and special request have always been met. I work out often and the gym has always been more than accommodating with space no matter how many people have been in there, the temperature has always been pleasant because I hate working out in hot gyms and the equipment has always been clean and in working order. The location is prime and there are multiple things to do in the Downtown area. My only selfish gripe is I wish they had a Jacuzzi but the pool is an added bonus.

Not quite what I expected.

My wife and I both stayed at the hotel, while I attended a conference. I must say the rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. However, the conference facility was hard to navigate, and none of the staff seemed to be really comfortable about directing the many attendees.
In addition, very few of the elevators were operating, so many of us had wait 10 minutes or more for one to arrive on our floor. I also found the food selection very limited, and I couldn't even find where the restaurant was.
All in all, a less than comfortable experience.
