Did not meet expectations, especially for the price paid. Really a worn, budget style room. Black carpet, worn out old furniture, just really needs a redo. Blah toiletries, poor service, broken items in room. The conference space was nice however. But I would not stay here again.

Her entire staff rose to the occasion, surely following her example. 5 stars! Thank you, Alicia! Read less

I was on a 12 day Eastern Discovery with Leger holidays parent company American Tours International, I stayed for two nights at the Washington Hilton, I had a lovely comfortable room with everything I needed for my stay, good housekeeping throughout the hotel, staff friendly and helpful, the hotel has a good gift shop for all your souvenir requirements and a shop selling all food and drinks, the hotel is in a good location just a short walk to a supermarket and bars and fast food places. Our days itinerary with guide Esther and driver Mat our first stop was at the Amish Museum which was very interesting we had a guide that told us about the Amish Community then we had time to walk around and see everything. On arrival in Washington we had a tour all around the sites of interest then an evening tour around Washington, the following day we visited Arlington National Cemetery, the White House then free time. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Washington and my stay at the Washington Hilton would definitely recommend this hotel. Read less

If you’re a tourist, this hotel is not for you. It’s a convention mill. One convention after another after another Which means, when you leave your outdated room and go down for coffee, you have to wait in line. This hotel needs to be torn down and replaced with something nice.

This has been the worst hotel stay! I arrived in the evening. And then went out for a business dinner. I returned late. Settled in to discover he room had no working TV. I called down and after waiting for the technician to come in and out of the room multiple times he announced that the TV could not be fixed. The following morning I awoke, an attempted to turn on the TV to watch the morning g news and was reminded that I would get nothing but a blank screen. Determined to do something other than stare at myself I attempted to call room service. Now the landline phone in my room was not working properly. In the middle of one call the phone would mysteriously start dialing another coupled with loud static on the line making it unable to hear the person on the other end of the line. I the attempted to call the manager and had to suffer through the static as I was placed on hold. After ten minutes I decided I also try my cell phone to reach the manager. Now I waited on hold on two phones for another 10 minutes. After a largely useless exchange with the manager for another 10 minutes, she offered me Hilton honors points. I can assure you if I use them it won’t be at the Washington Hilton. Read less
