The experience clearly exceeded our expectations. Everything was perfect and at times even beyond that. The service attitude of the staff was friendly and polite. Food and drink offerings were delicious. A snorkeling trip to the sea fulfilled our dreams when we saw sea turtles, manta rays and numerous colorful small fish. This is the very first luxury resort we've ever been to where it is not only okay, but encouraged to walk barefoot. And this is one of the tings that made this probably one of the very best hotel/resort experiences we ever had! The better half loathes dress codes, especially in warm climates, thus being encouraged to wear shorts (nice ones though), piqué shirts and walk barefoot was a dream come true for him. And I loved it too, dressing up for dinner in a nice dress and then not wear shoes, wonderful. We didn't wear shoes for the duration of our stay actually. A part from that we stayed in a water villa which was lovely, the shower being partly outdoors was a nice touch. Being able to enter the sea straight from your private terrace was super nice. Even though we did not go midnight skinny-dipping after the first night as we encountered a moray eel in the corals just a meter from the stairs the next morning. Which was also an exciting experience. We went on a boat trip where we saw beautiful fish, corals and even a turtle and best of all, back on the boat dozens of dolphins joined us. Amazing! As the resort is all inclusive, you don't really have to think about anything, everything is included, food, drinks, wine etc. And, working in wine, I must say that the selection of wine included in the all-inclusive list is very impressive. There are lots of gems and things that I would want to drink. However, the other wine list, outside of the all-inclusive selection, is probably one of the most exciting lists both selection wise and when it comes to price. I probably shouldn't share this secret, but I don't think you can beat that list anywhere in the world today, the prices are great. And the wine team in place, led by Madu are fantastic. They are knowledgeable and ready to help make a suitable selection for anything you decide to eat. Chef Daniel and his team provide excellent cooking, both in the buffet restaurant Manta as well as in the la carte restaurant Alizée. Do make sure you check out the spa, I had one of the best massages ever (I get a lot of massages). Great gym, very modern with lots of different options, depending on what you want to do. Read less

The island is absolutely incredible with brilliant coral and marine life. The thing that turkey makes the island special though is the staff and the hard work they do ensuring you have an in readable experience and that goes for management to the back of house people behind the scenes. They are all in readable friendly, helpful and approachable. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone who wants a five star experience in the Maldives. Read less

My Wife, Son and I have just returned from our 9th visit to this beautiful Island. As I reported after last year’s visit it becomes more and more difficult for me to find the words to do justice to the magic that Moofushi exudes. This year the General Manager Mevin was away celebrating a special birthday, and the Island was in the hands of the more than capable Manjoola who greeted us on landing. From the moment we met her and in all our conversations it was clearly evident she had all her guest’s best interests at heart, I found her totally engaging and totally guest enjoyment and satisfaction focussed. As always, our family focus on visiting Moofushi is that of ‘switching off’ and relaxation for my wife, and for my Son and I diving and the laid-back island life, once again the Jewel Island delivered in spades. There are a few (quite a few) staff members both new and old friends that I would like to mention here who continue to make our stay such special one and I apologise if I mis-spelt any of your names or if I missed out anyone. There have clearly been a few additions to the team since last year however everyone we met totally embraced the bare foot, laid back culture of Moofushi. A new team member Sole initially looked after us on arrival and allowed us the perfect time to settle in, familiarise ourselves and say hello to old friends as we sat and enjoyed our welcome drink in the Manta bar. We had absolutely zero issues during our stay, the couple of times we wished to reschedule something it was never a problem to Adil or Zidhan at reception. At the Manta Restaurant we were always greeted by either the immaculate Binjou or effervescent Sam who would always find us a lovely table. Thank you both so much for the beautifully prepared special tables on our first and last nights. Thank you to Rashid and Nizz who each night always remembered our preferred drinks choices and the two trainees Maverick (Top Gun) and Chris from Myanmar who we enjoyed chatting too so much. Special thanks also to Yabee, Gopan and to Naas who I have known for years and never forget his beaming smile. There is absolutely no point re-iterating here the standard of food, it has been said many times before and I am not creative enough to find different words to describe the wonderful and varied experiences each night. However, I have to give extra special mention to Priyantha the head Pastry Chef who after we gave him the deserved compliments for his wonderful Panna-cottas took the trouble to show my wife his special ingredient! At the Totem bar it was great to see once again Fonseka in post making his signature Cocktails, he always took the trouble to ask how my diving went as we stopped by for Mocktails on our way back to our villa. Special mention once again must go to the Bluetribe team. I usually dived twice a day, my Son at least once and we never missed a day. Moofushi is blessed with so many beautiful dive sites and the team seem to know them as if they were their homes. On this visit our dives we were impeccably led by Shoote and Igge who not only being great guides would always listen to suggestions and ideas on other sites to visit or different ways to dive them. It was great to meet up with my old friend, the ever youthful ‘King’ Jalle who taught my son to dive 10 years ago and to say hello to Mauro, Hassan and Bea. I must also pay tribute to the ever helpful and hard-working old friends Niyam, Ahmed and Lal on the boats and in the back of house. To Miles and Enzo thank you for delivering such an exemplary dive team, a continued first-class dive experience and also conjuring up new encounters for me, this time Leopard Sharks at Bojahamadi and out of season Mantas at Boulandili and Obvi Thila. We all visited the beautiful Spa on a number of occasions and were treated to our choice of perfectly relaxing or rejuvenating massages. Especial thanks to Priya, Panca, Nisha and Syriaan who wonderfully untangled the complex knots in our backs, necks and shoulders, never have I known 90 minutes to pass so quickly. Sadly, our yearly visit came to a close but not without another magical Cinefushi Experience ably facilitated on the beach by Zyan. A massive thank you to Mevin and Manjoola for all you did and continue to do. You continue to captivate your guests and I and a growing number of my international friendship group will continue to return. See you next year for number ten! Read less

We chose Costance Moofushi to spend our honeymoon in Maldives and we couldn’t have made a better choice! Since the first time we got in touch with the resort, we already felt the professionalism of the team and the passion they put on their work. All communication with the hotel was immediate, precise and kind. When we arrived, they made us feel at home, always. From the arrival in the airport, with the assistance and private lounge to the check in, all went smoothly. Then, well, no need to describe the hotel, the pictures say by themselves. Is breathtaking! The beaches, the amenities, the room, the food, the activities… Everything beyond our expectations (which were already high). But the best thing about this resort, is the high standard service that each employee provides with kindness and always with a smile. We can’t wait to come back!!!!!
