We chose the Emerald to celebrate our honeymoon. It was definitely the best choice we made. The service and hospitality were incredible. We even got to experience some of the marine animals that are always at the hotel. We will always remember this date. Sid, thank you for everything.

We spent a wonderful week at the Emerald Resort & Spa in late October with our two teenage boys Our family beach villa was magical, right on the edge or the water surrounded by gorgeous mature vegetation, white “manicured” sand and palm trees leaning into the horizon. The villa was enormous, the main bathroom super well equipped and more than generous in size, with a separate dressing area and an extra outside shower. The children had a separate room and bathroom which was also very comfortable and large. The island was maintained to perfection, the gardens were impeccable, the sand on the beach raked twice daily. The facilities were outstanding too. I was initially worried it would be boring to spend a week on a tiny island and that there would be nothing to do. We didnt stop, there were so many activities on offer. The Water sports centre was super complete, with non motorised equipment for free. The motorised watersports were also not eyewateringly expensive like in other resorts, but reasonably priced. We used the tennis court daily and there were two paddle courts and a multisport court as well. My son went to the large gym every day. We did amazing excursions on jet ski, swam with turtles and manta rays, saw an enormous school of dolphins a few metres from us and visited a magican sandbank just minutes away by jetski. Each morning we would go snorkling just in front of our villa and saw an array of fish and corals. The staff at the hotel were exceptional. Every single one of them super friendly, going out of their way to make our stay pleasant. As I love south east asian food they even made an exception and cooked some special local and south indian dishes for me. KD the head of food and beverage is a true treasure and the gentleman who cleaned our villa twice daily was thorough and took his time to make our room perfect every time. I am so sorry i dont remember his name, but a special shoutout to him. The food was also very good, and the spa treatments were also priced correctly and they were amazing. Drinks, also all included, were great too with a great wine selection. Another highlight of our stay was the tour of the island where we were shown the enormous infrastructure it takes for an island in the middle of the ocean to work seamlessly. We all cannot wait to return next year!! Read less

This was our second trip to Emerald in 2024 and our 5th time in the Maldives. We returned to Emerald as we love the food, drinks, amazing service and the incredible resort. The staff are just incredible and go out of their way to ensure we had the most amazing time. From the warmest welcome arriving on the jetty from the manager and staff welcoming us back and from housekeeping with decorations in our room and on my birthday to Sid our villa host always helping us with booking our meals and any other queries we had. He was always asking after us and making sure we had what we needed. The bar and restaurant staff are amazing. Special shout outs to Areej, Ali, Manik, Azu, Mirfan, Samah, Anthony, Nitesh and the Someliers – Jai, Yashi and Shivam. Apologies for any names we have missed there are too many to thank. KD - What can we say, you made my birthday so special (and emotional) with sunset drinks on the beach and a special table at the gala. Jimmy whose picanha steak and garlic dough balls we returned for, what an incredible chef, he helped make our holiday. I did another dive with Cate as she helped so much with my confidence last time and this time the dive was even better! Thanks to the water sports guys and Hassan for arranging the best tailored private jet ski tour, I would definitely recommend this. We saw and swam with Manta Rays and turtles and had bottle nose and spinner dolphins within 1 metre of us which was just incredible. Thank you so much Emerald, we will definitely be returning again. Tips – take your own lilo. Read less

We had an incredible 9-night stay at Emerald Maldives in the Water Villa with a pool, and it truly exceeded all expectations. The service was outstanding—every detail was thoughtfully attended to, and the staff were always one step ahead. Our villa was spotless, and waking up to the stunning water views each morning was pure bliss. The food was amazing! We never got bored, with so many delicious options and great all-inclusive choices. From fresh seafood at the Gala Dinner to fantastic pasta, every meal was a treat. The activities were also a highlight—whether snorkeling with manta rays, fishing, or just enjoying the sunset at the bar, we were never short of things to do. A big thank you to Ramesis, our villa host, for making sure we had the perfect balance of fun and relaxation. We also want to shout out Naeem, our villa attendant, who kept our villa in top shape and made our stay even more comfortable. The Food & Beverage team was exceptional—Perla's warm service, Satyam’s delicious pasta, and the attentive care from Sam, Azu, and Manik made each meal special. Yashi, the sommelier, also provided perfect wine pairings with our meals. We had the best time and will definitely be recommending the Emerald Maldives to friends and family. Read less
