We enjoyed our 6 night stay at Hammock Cove! Beach and Pool The beach was private, the cleanest that I have ever seen and chairs and activities were plentiful. We never had to wait for a chair at the pool or the beach. Food The food at the restaurants and room service was excellent. We were worried that 2 restaurants would not be enough, but it was not the case. The menus changed nightly. The service was excellent, highlighting the sommelier’s commitment to excellence. In addition, safe to drink the water at this resort. Room Incredibly clean and spacious, beautiful. Service Excellent. Friendly and welcoming. The matrade at the Lighthouse and sommelier were incredibly attentive. Front desk ladies were friendly as well. In addition, Leon, the ambassador brightened our day with his attitude of service. Another person who really stood out to us was Tevon. He assisted us with riding the hobie cat and kayaks. He was warm, knowledgable and extremely positive about the resort and seemed as if he loved his job and the guests that he serves. He made us feel welcome and very comfortable. We will definitely be returning! Read less

Overall, nice resort that is more like a 4 star resort in the Caribbean. One key item to note when reading these reviews that hit us once there, this resort does have better food and service than other all inclusive hotels, which is not our normal travel. Pros: Villa is great size and plunge pool is nice, spa treatment was great and there were moments where certain food items were excellent (Seafood BBQ lobster, lobster pasta during 7 course meal, rack of lamb, chicken lunch dish and a few others such as muffins and croissants at breast and tortilla chips). Generally speaking, everyone working at the hotel was very pleasant. We didn’t have anyone go above and beyond, everyone was cordial and attentive even during busy times. Excursions: We did the boat to snorkel, lunch and see some of the smaller islands. It was short and sweet booze cruise where we got to snorkel with turtles. We also went out to Shirley Heights where the view and sister was pretty, but do not recommend a Sunday night given how crowded it was. My biggest regret is not getting on a boat to see more of Antigua and would love to see the pink sand and flamingos of Barbuda. Facts of hotel as of July: We were in a water villa between 18-21 and there is a lot of construction at the next door property which takes away from a peaceful time on your deck. They also dumped the seaweed in front of our villa deck making the smell even worse, which is already around the resort given the amount of seaweed from the Atlantic side. Wish I would have brought: bug spray and cream when you get bit as these bugs come out around dusk, sunscreen as they only had 2 brands in the spa to purchase that weren’t my preference and cash for tips and cabs. Surprised with cute towel animals - Outstanding cuisine: Chef Marco personally visits tables during dinner, demonstrating his passion in every dish. Irina’s breakfast and lunch were delightful. Don’t miss the beach BBQs featuring a fantastic array of seafood and meat. - Peaceful and quiet resort with a maximum of 80 guests at a time. - Great selection of water sports, including sailing, canoeing, and kayaking. - Spacious, clean, and beautifully designed rooms. - The cooking demon class was a highlight and incredibly enjoyable. - Equipped air conditioned game room Cons: - The main lobby lacks air conditioning. - Irina’s sushi night and dinners were disappointing and had a limited, bar-like menu. - No ATM on site. Tips: - Bring cash for tipping. - For men: Pack collared shirts, long pants, and closed shoes, as they are required for dining at the Lighthouse. - Pack earplugs to block out the loud crickets at night. - Be sure to have dinner at the Lighthouse every night. They go out of their way to provide a personal luxury experience. The cabins at Hammock Cove are ideal, private oases, comfortable bed, private pool. The food was phenomenal -- breakfast was our favorite meal because of the tasty and healthy options, but all of the meals were fantastic. The wait staff, the sommelier, the chefs, the front desk, water sports crew, the crew of the catamaran trip -- all go out of the way to be kind and accommodating. This resort is a laid-back beautiful escape that we recommend without reservation. Read less

Dear Future Traveler If you are looking for a relaxing, peaceful, and indulgent getaway- look no further! Hammock Cove Antigua is THE best all inclusive resort in Antigua and possibly even one of the best in the Caribbean. My wife and I just returned from a 10 day stay at Hammock Cove where we celebrated our honeymoon. This place definitely exceeded our expectations. We were looking for an all inclusive that was smaller, more on the quiet side with plenty of privacy. HC checked all of the boxes for us. The property is located on a beautiful cove overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. I would recommend booking or upgrading your room to an ocean front villa, the views are incredible! The villa was excellent. Lovely vaulted ceilings, large bathroom with double shower, nice large closet, and a beautiful plunge/infinity pool overlooking the water. There is also a great wet bar located on the balcony of each villa that is stocked daily with your drinks of choice. We were very pleased with our bar service from Delarno, he kept our bar and ice stocked nicely each and every day. He also kept us hydrated with lots of bottled water at our request. He was such a great guy! Our rooms were cleaned daily by the excellent housekeeping staff and they even provided a turn down service in the evenings. There are only a few dining options located on the property, however the menus change daily and the food was out of this world. The quality of the ingredients and the choices were excellent. We highly recommend grabbing breakfast at Irinas. This is the more casual option for dining where they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Each morning we were greeted by the lovely Linda who took such good care of us. She was so polite and so sweet and really made us feel at home. In the evenings we opted to go to the high-end restaurant, The Lighthouse, where Chef Marco and his team delivered the best fine-dining meals. We were so impressed by the menus and dishes that we decided to eat here every night of our trip. There were so many lovely staff members at The LightHouse that took such great care of us, Troy, Keiv at the bar and Nishila, just to name a few. Make sure you dine there on Wednesdays as they offer a 7 course tasting menu that was impressive and delicious. We must not forget our lovely Ambassadors, Dev and Rondel. These two took such great care of us throughout our entire stay. They helped arrange our excursions, answered our calls regarding any questions or needs that we had, as well as took room service orders and delivered them to our room. The ambassadors at Hammock Cove go above and beyond for the guests and that's one of the many reasons we enjoyed our trip so much. A special shoutout to some other staff members that were so lovely and took great care of us. Aaliyah, Erick, Joel, Andre, Priscilla, Camara, and Samantha; Thank you! If you are looking for a fun excursion, we recommend hopping on the Calypso Cat that leaves right from the property and takes you on a snorkel trip. This was so much fun! The captain and crew took great care of us and kept the rum punch flowing! We will definitely be returning to Hammock Cove in the future. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about our stay- from the wonderful villa, to the incredible food and drinks, and the excellent service. Thanks to everyone at HC for a great time! We will see you again soon! Read less
