We are on the last day of a 10 day trip here with our two older children and our 12 year old who has allergies to nuts and sesame. Firstly the food. The hotel really catered for my daughter’s allergies providing anything she wanted even if it was off the the menu or not in the buffet that evening. All three restaurants were able to provide her with suitable alternatives. This meant we didn’t have to worry about her allergy while we were there. All of the staff at the restaurants were excellent but the chef Shivin went above and beyond every day. Having her favourite fruits prepped and ready for her. At no point was her allergy treated like an inconvenience. We have previously visited Dubai staying at the Westin, Atlantis, Al qasr, Zabel Saray amongst others. The staff here were the best we have ever experienced. Every member of staff went above and beyond from the staff manning the beach towels to the bar staff at Amar Bar. They were always cheerful and checking if we needed anything. The manager at Lavant provided the most delicious menu for us, we really appreciated his attention to detail. The supervisor at NOHO was able to ensure we could watch the premier league football match at NOHO with English commentary. The staff at Ramsa knew my son’s order before he even asked, and provided excellent coffee and iced coffees. This resort is very chilled, away from the hustle and bustle of Dubai which meant we were able to relax and have a really nice family break. The boys utilised the desert excursions and spa. My daughter visited the kids club. There was literally something for all of the family. It’s a long review but we have had a really relaxing time and will be sad to check out today! Read less

We stayed for 12 nights from 1st August to the 13th. Fabulous hotel and grounds, on the beach. We stayed on an all inclusive wrap around giving access to other restaurants and bars (payable). Before arrival we arranged for return airport/hotel transfers and explained we would be a large group of 12 celebrating a range of birthdays and anniversaries. Anáis in Guest Relations was absolutely fantastic in arranging the transfers without fuss. She also took account of the many celebrations and arranged for cakes, fruit platters and wine to be sent to our rooms. On arrival we had a simple process to check in. We had arrived early and one room was available so we were able to settle in very quickly. The rooms are all very similar, however Anais had booked us into rooms 661 and 662 which are centrally situated in the main building overlooking the pool and sea, absolutely first class. The views were straight out of a holiday brochure! The rooms were spacious, clean and exactly as advertised on the website. Beds were large and very comfortable, firmer pillows were requested from housekeeping and delivered very quickly. Deepak from housekeeping kept our rooms spotless and nothing was too much. Breakfast, lunch and dinner was usually at the main restaurant Saffar. Here the staff were amazing again. The chef Siobin always checked in to make sure we were okay and on many occasions cooked additional dishes which were very nice and much appreciated. The staff always greeted us with a smile and nothing was too much. Hannane, Jessica, Limbu and Khaled were exceptional, always making sure where possible our large group was seated together. There was a never ending supply of drinks and dishes were removed from tables in an appropriate manner so as not to be intrusive. We had breakfast and dinner at the Levant a few times and found that to be just as good but I preferred Saffar. The range of food for vegetarians was good and chef made sure it didn’t become too repetitive. We stayed at the same time as the Al-Nassr under 21 football team but never felt it was too busy or that they had better service. Credit to those guys, they were very well mannered and always allowed other guests to take food first. Poolside - lots of loungers and umbrellas always available. Never had to wake up early to reserve ever. Simply towel down and go for breakfast. Moses the pool attendant was awesome and always had towels and cold water ready throughout the day. The pool is one height at 1.2metres with a separate children’s pool. The pool bar staff were always friendly and again nothing was too much. Lifeguards on duty during opening hours. The beach is kept immaculate and the sea was usually calm enough to float around or do the usual stand and wave jump. On the whole a fabulous hotel made first class by some amazing staff! Read less
