It was as an absolute pleasure staying at the Savannah! We had a Courtview room I was very disappointed with it there was ply wood under the bed like the room was not finish renovated or something it was clean it also had couple balloons for him upon arrival which I liked but the room was very disappointing and not worth the money. Also to mention this hotel is not for pregnant or person who has mobility issues it only has stairs and lots of them no elevators . When I visited I was pregnant and the stairs killed me to climb and it gets very slippery when the rain falls other than that it was an ok time.i finished my stay and no one asked us how was our stay some of the customer service experience want shaping up. Avoid rude female restaurant managers at Drifters Bar. Go to Sandy Lane The property is beautiful, the view is great but the restaurant staff spoil the whole experience. I stopped by on Wednesday 7 August and asked for a table with a view of the ocean. The manageress was sarcastic and kept on calling me baby girl every time i asked for something. As an outside guest i had to pay $150 for the buffet. It is pricey and I was not really hungry but it was the only restaurant open for dinner so I decided to try it. Some of the dishes were not bad, like the pork chops and sweet potatoes. The two ladies who were managing the restaurant however were impolite and lack interpersonal skills. They swooped on me to check that the waiter is not undercharging me as an outsize guest. I found their conduct unprofessional and inconsistent with the cost of the meal. My experience at the Sandy Lane Hotel on the other hand, was superb. For the same amount of money, as an outside guest, i got excellent customer service. Be discerning. Go to Sandy Lane. Read less
