The hotel

Where is it

Situated on Meedhuffushi Island in the South Nilandhe Atoll. Transfer time from Malé International Airport: 35 minutes by seaplane (remember to pack light for the seaplane transfer as luggage allowance is 20kg plus 5kg hand luggage, per person).

The Deluxe Beach Villas feature an outdoor shower, and 1 king-size bed, in-built sofa bed, a spacious in-room closet, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

All-Inclusive includes: breakfast at Aqua Restaurant. Lunch at Aqua, Well Done, or The Spice Restaurant. Daily afternoon tea. Dinner at Aqua, Well Done, or The Spice Restaurant. Unlimited soft drinks, tea and coffee; draught beer, selected spirits, house wine, and selection of cocktails. Complimentary mini bar replenished once daily. Beach Villas with Pool are located on the beach with a private pool, swinging sofa on the beach, outdoor shower, and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children.

Reef Villas are overwater villas featuring with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Sunset Reef Villas are the same as above, facing in the direction of the sunset.

Aqua Villas with Pool are overwater villas featuring a private pool and overwater hammock, with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Grand Water Villas with Pool feature a private infinity edge swimming pool on an oversized sun deck, ocean views and steps down to the lagoon. With 1 king-size bed, separate lounge area and a bathroom with separate shower, sleeping maximum 3 adults.

Two Bedroom Water Villa with Pool - situated at the end of the overwater jetty, features 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a large living room with dining area. Plus outside features a private pool, daybed, loungers and dining table.

Totally a paradise in this planet. After a lot of searching we choose this resort with my wife for wedding anniversary. And really happy with this place. Not so big island too feel lonely island feeling in the middle of ocean and not so small. All day schnorkeling with colourfull fishes, scuba diving and evenings good events at Nautilus Bar. Totally good atmosphere for romantic moments at sunset time. Beach villa is cheaper and in our opinion even better than water villas. Stuff is always smiling and learning our favorite drinks or room number. Didi was our host, he is experienced and helped to much. Rooms are clean, housekeeping 2 times per day, thanks to Muthir for this. And at restaurants everybody is perfect but we remember Digajan and Shayan. We are sure they will remember as pina colada guys! And thanks to Joynal for everything. We are leaving with good memories and looking for to come here one day again. Read less

We visited Sun Siyam Villu reef to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary with our two kids. From arrival at Male the service was great, flights were delayed due to bad weather but the resort were organised & got us on a sea flight transfer as soon as possible. The resort is beautiful & rustic, as soon as you arrive your host looks after you & explains all the activities etc. all the staff are all very friendly & genuinely care about your stay. The beach villas are spacious & the outdoor shower a tropical heaven. Every part of the hotel is impeccable & clean. Shout out to all staff especially at Positive bar & Aqua. Thank you to Reema our host, & Ali who looked after us all so well & nothing was too much trouble. Chef Nittin for ensuring we were looked after & the special meal requests. Mattur for ensuring our villa was always clean & ensuring all our requests were completed. A thank you to the Reddy, Nisha, Rita, Bhatti, Thanidra & Sham. The resort is very family friendly & the all inclusive is good value & good wine selection. Food was good but limited in choice & variety especially for kids as their menu is not very diverse & the snacks at 3-5pm are more catered for adults than children. They should have more choice & variety. This resort has a special place in our heart as they made us feel so loved & welcomed & cared for our kids so well. We mostly stayed on the side of our villa or in the corner of the island where nautilus bar is. Awesome time spending during sunset, cocktail parties, live bands, possibility to watch movie right on the beach and have dinner! A lot of sport activities! You can do almost whatever you want from paddle to wake board, knee board and much more! We celebrated two birthdays on our stay and we would like to say thanks to all the stuff, especially Sahib for keeping our room clean always and making all of the decorations for each birthday 🎁 I sent the photo of one of the decorations. We loved it a lot and we loved the kind he has in his heart. Thanks to the girls and guys in Aqua restaurant, Spice and Well done restaurants for perfect service and making their best to comply our requests, especially Shakil, it was amazing how he always kept in touch with us. Also thanks to Reedy and Rita, we were always happy to see you and talk to you. Special thanks to chefs Chaminda and Faruk, we always got their attention on breakfast and dinner, we even got baked whole fish several times and it was super delicious! Great men. It's literary magical, island, staff, beach, coconut trees, white sand, cristal blue ocean, Aqua restaurant, Positive Energy and Nautilus bar, tenis court, billiard, Well Done restaurant, snorkeling, smile on the staffs faces while greating you every time you walk past them, sunset, sunrise, walk around the island, villas, there is not enough room here to mention all of it. We WOULD REALLY RECOMEND IT 10/10, it' so intimate and yet so blissful island, you shouldn't miss it ever!!!!There is a lot activities you can do, the villas are perfect, bed is so comfortable (so much so, l have a problem with my own back home now), bathroom is partialy in the open, so you can enjoy the sun and the palm trees while you are showering. You get the slippers, beach bag, towels for beach and bathroom, and toiletries in the room. The food/buffer in Aqua restaurant is great, a lot of options, every evening different cuisine, with chefs ready to cook something especially for you and show you their magical skills and the main chef greating you every night and making sure that everything is up to your liking. The Aqua restaurant is partially on the water so you can enjoy your food while listening the dance of the waves and the fish swimming. I had my birthday during our visit, so they even made me a birthday cake and dj played a Happy Birthday song in Nautilus beach bar, which made me cry out of happiness. And for the end, I want to give a big shout-out to the most amaizing guys❤️: Babul - for cleaning our room twice a day, bringing us cookies every evening and making sure we have everything we need, such a humble and a niiiiice guy, he even made a "Happy birthday" drawing from the coconut leaves on our bed, it was such a work of art that we didn't want to sleep in our bed 🥰; Shayanth, such a friendly waiter who took a good care of us during our dining and made us feel like we are home; our ambasador Didi, who was there for us and our every question/request, he even arranged for us to plant our own coconut tree in the backyard of our villa, so we can visit it once we come back; and the chef Buwan for making us perfect dinner in Well Done restaurant! Amazing experience. Beautiful island with both clear water and reef. Excellent room cleaning service with Shakawath and also delicious lunch and dinner thank to the chef Buwan. Every requests or needs were promptly satisfied by manager Didi.
