) he has gone above and beyond to make sure we have a clean room with everything we need every single day , also decorating our bed for our return every afternoon and evening , the bar waiters and waitresses are brilliant nothings too much trouble and soo fast , the waiters in the restaurant are brilliant and soo friendly making every meal time enjoyable along with the food which we can't fault in two weeks we have not had one bad meal , so much choice at every restaurant everyone's soo attentive , we also had the best time on the jet ski safari (worth doing ) riding along with the dolphins right by our side , We can't wait to come back we had the best stay Thankyou sun siyam vilu reef we have made some amazing memories staying with you !!!

We had a wonderful delayed honeymoon at Sun Siyam Vilu Reef. The island was perfectly sized and thoroughly enjoyed a gentle strole around it in the evening. Swimming off the island reef was delightful, which leaves from the side of the island that faces a relatively close local island, but the reef was great! The island offered a great range of trips and excursions, we had an amazing day swimming with Manta Rays and Whale Sharks, but you will also not be disappointed if you neaver leave the island during your trip!
We stayed in the Sunset Ocean Vila and moved to one with a pool half way through. The rooms were spotlessly clean and beautifully well-kept with stunning views out across the ocean. The buffet was delicious, but we must shout out “The Spice” for particularly wonderful Indian food in the evening, make sure you book ahead. The staff were warm and generous hosts throughout our stay. Our host Niyaaf was great and struck the perfect balance between being attentive and always contactable whilst also giving us space to enjoy the holiday. We would thoroughly recommend the resort.

We came back a few days ago from one magic week in Sun Siyam Vilu Reef. It’s our second time in Maldives, and the resort exceeded our expectations. It was less luxurious than our first resort, but offered a nice atmosphere and natural surroundings.
We stayed in a deluxe beach villa then in a reef villa. Both offered privacy with direct access to the beach/sea. Finally we preferred the beach villa as water was pristine with white sand. The water villa section was more rocky.
Before traveling, I was aware about the walls in the ocean meant to stop erosion right in front of the beach villas. I was afraid this would completely spoil the landscape. Ironically, we ended by spending a lot of time by these walls since the best snorkeling happens right in front of them! The house reef is so close to the beach, about 10 m in water and all kinds of sea creatures are under your eyes.
Our kids generally preferred pools to the sea. If Vilu Reef had one strength it’s succeeding to change their minds and get them to enjoy the sea much more! They were initially intimidated by the baby reef sharks but ended by enjoying observing them. There was lots of colorful fish, rays and crabs.
As we booked directly with the resort, snorkeling gear was offered throughput our stay. Non-motorized water sports were also complimentary, as well as a dolphin cruise.
It was our first seaplane experience, which we apprehended. Unexpectedly - and fortunately - steady and smooth flight. We waited for two hours for the seaplane to depart. Luckily the lounge offered snacks and comfortable seats.
We are thankful to all the resort staff that made our stay comfortable and delightful. It was one week in paradise!
