When we started looking for destinations for our honeymoon, we went global. Caribbean islands, Asia, Africa - you name it, we looked for it. Sunset was one that cropped up in every search, and from the pictures it instantly got our attention. We hadn't settled on Jamaica but every time we did a general search, SATP was there. And choosing it as our honeymoon destination was the best decision we could have ever made. The rustic, intimate vibe is felt as soon as you step into the property. The treehouses look gorgeous on photos but are even more beautiful and comfortable when you're there. The lighting was perfect, romantic, subtle. The music. The pool. Everything about it from an amenities point of view was exactly what we wanted in a relaxed, do-nothing holiday. As a coeliac vegan, we'd resigned ourselves to me struggling to eat anywhere we went. But oh no. Chef Michael and the rest of the culinary team had me covered. I certainly never went hungry and the food was just incredible - fresh, local, incredibly tasty. The team went above and beyond when they really didn't have to and it was very much appreciated. The beach being over the road is beyond irrelevant. It's clean, beautiful and not even a minute's walk from the entrance to the resort. I don't even like the beach (don't judge, not a fan of sand) but we went there every day. The sunrise and sunsets are stunning. I can't recommend it enough. The team who work there are so helpful, fun and friendly - every single person we met who worked at SATP was so pleasant, it really can't be understated how fantastic the staff were there. Nadine in the bar was just pure sunshine, so beautiful and happy all the time. There were so many of the waiters/waitresses that were brilliant too - I don't think I've ever been to a place where it was just so welcoming. Sadesa, our personal concierge, was also so great, checking in on us intermittently. The botanical gardens the resort is set in is also unbelievably gorgeous. On the two days where the weather was poor i.e raining with no sun at all, we still had the best time relaxing. It's also a fantastic place to meet new people - the cosy, relaxed, intimate atmosphere breeds new friendships. It isn't super-energetic and there isn't lots of entertainment so if you're envisaging Ibiza, it's definitely not. But there isn't anything better than sitting at the martini bar, listening to Piano Paul and catching up with friends. And I can't write a review without mentioning Lynette at the gift shop who was so lovely finding me GF crisps for a snack! Overall, we can't believe how much we lucked out choosing SATP as our honeymoon destination. We will 100% be going back. And we would and will be recommending it to anybody. Read less

Thank you Lynette. Nadine, Brittany and all the lovely bar and waiting staff. Nothing too much trouble - great cocktails! Thank you for the service and smiles. The fun and fabulous beach staff - Kevon et al kept us supplied with towels and sun beds in exactly the right place. Loved it. Thank you for looking after us so well. Lynford and your amazing garden team and incredible knowledge - loved the garden tour and you and your teams‘ beautiful tropical gardens are visual testament to your expertise and hard work. Thank you Sadesa for ensuring our stay was superb. We had such a relaxing fortnight and although we tend not to revisit places, are extremely likely to return to the Sunset. It really is a haven of tranquility and would wholeheartedly recommend for some fabulous Jamaican sunshine with authentic and genuine Caribbean hospitality. Thank you SATP Read less

Her grace and hospitality was amazing. we were in Jamaica for 6 nights we stayed at a Villa in Treasure beach. I knew we would need a day out so i did research and came across this resort on tictok. I am so glad I did. the ride to the resort was over 2 hours away and it was worth it. the beach is one of the prettiest beaches i have ever seen. They offer a signature coffee drink the Jiggy and they were all sooo good.. we loved this place so much we went twice in a week. and they remembered our group the second time.. that is special.. we did the day pass and it with no regrets. We ask Kadence for a tour and without hesitation she showed us the place.. we will be returning for stay in the very near future. Read less

Sunset at the palms was an experience we will never forget !! The resort was the most tropical and beautiful place. We were welcomed with such lovely faces and greetings, with our porter Jamey who helped us with our bags. Our personal concierge Tarine introduced us to the place making us feel at home, she was always avalible to help with anything we needed by an easy WhatsApp message, which was very convenient and helpful!! It was my partners birthday during our stay and Tarine helped organise our room to be birthday ready! The beach was a wonderful experience we felt very safe and enjoyed every second, when arriving at the beach we were always greeted by Kevon who helped us with our beach loungers and learnt exactly where we liked to be sat ! When returning from the beach we were greeted and checked back in by our lovely security jerone, making sure we always felt safe. Dinner whether at the buffet or at the restaurant was impeccable our taste buds always satisfied with the array of food always leaving us with a full stomach. The lovely waiters who we came to know well, were Leon and Jason, Jason ensured my partner enjoyed a lovely birthday dinner and ensured that it felt like his special day ! Every day our rooms were cleaned to perfection with our fridge restocked with an assortment of beverages by Olivia and Afia! There also was a gift shop where Lynette was always there to greet us and help us with anything we needed, it contained souvenirs but also any necessities we may have needed. When it came to our departure we found one of our suitcases zip was broken but no matter, the engineers Kurt and Gareth came to the rescue and left us with no worries for our journey home!! Over all, sunset at the plans was an experience we will never forget, a place we would definitely return to, and recommend to anyone who wants a relaxing and homely holiday !! Read less
