Calusa service was terrible for dinner good for breakfast. Room was nice , bathroom was fantastic in the suite .There is a had a loud noise that lasts for about 10 seconds then repeats about every 12 min all night. No idea what it is but it’s awful. Doesn’t wake you but makes it hard to go to sleep if you can’t get to sleep before the next one. The rooms seem to be insulated better in the coconut wing which is where we have stayed in the past. Overall the room itself well done, spacious and modern. They used to give really nice little goodie bags for dogs now it’s just these burlap bags with the little bandanas and a loaner water bowl you have to ask for. Disappointing given what they charge per night . As a diamond member they give you this card of benefits , the coffee “upgrade” isn’t explained well, what is should say is you get $3 off a cappuccino or latte , it’s not an upgrade. Coffee refills are free, if the upgrade was truly that latte refills would be free. Read less

Bakers Kay is a beautiful very family friendly resort, we came with a group of families with little kids and it was extremely relaxing and user-friendly. Our dinners and breakfast at Colusa were delicious and we were well taken care of byTashana.

Great resort! Had a great experience at the Pool Bar with our bartender Romane. He was attentive, professional, and SO nice! The drinks were amazing and his vibes made our little vacation so much better! We ordered a pineapple mojito and the Ole Ole cocktail. We will definitely be returning soon!

Very limited on the restaurant side, one expensive one and one not so. We ate out at local restaurants but it involved driving as the resort is a little remote. It is a resort so there are lots of children, but the adult only pool was a blessing. Bottle of water provided on arrival, after that you pay for it. Check in at 4pm strictly observed, resulting in a huge queue at 4pm! By accident we found the original boat The African Queen was berthed in Key Largo and went along on a trip. The captain was great fun and knew all about the film The African Queen with Humphrey Bogard and Hepburn. It was a great trip and highly recommended and its about a 5 minute drive from the hotel. Reception staff not that helpful particularly as I was trying to arrange something special for my husband's 60th birthday. I couldn't reach them prior to arrival, no phone number on their website. The restaurant did, after much messing around, provide him with a dessert which said Happy Birthday. Read less
