This is our third visit here. This is lengthy, but honest! Check In- easy! Quick! However there was about 100 band students (young children) checking out. We were trying to figure out why there were so many kids here, as they advertise 14 & up. These were young kids, maybe 5-10years old. We were thankful they were leaving. We come here as an "adults only" vacation, and in our previous stays we may see 1 or 2 14+ year Olds with their parents. The next thing we know, here come 100 teenage boys, with their families. Baseball teams from all over. Cayman Islands, Puerto Rico, 3 USA teams, Arbua, Venezuela, and several others. Again, with their families- siblings, more kids. They wiped out the buffet, they took over the pool, the were running around everyone. Creating so much more work for their employees. So many guests were frustrated. We had heard SEVERAL times "why are there so many kids." "Way to many kids for me, I didn't think they were supposed to be here. " Very frustrating. You, Breezes, dropped the ball with your guests this last week. You cannot advertise "adults only - 14 & up" and have a million kids running every which direction. A lot has changed here since our last visit. We definitely enjoyed seeing some familiar faces, Reno , Michael at the poolside grill, Rasta(AKA Darvin)- he took great care of us, helping set up our cabana. We also met some new WONDERFUL people. The whole entertainment crew is exceptional. Joshua, Reno, D'von, & Ronnard made all the difference. What we would love to see come back- more dancing for the entertainment crew. The games are a blast, but I've seen your shows... they're so good. Bring it back. I would also love to see the entertainment crew eating dinner with the guests like they used to. That's how you get to know some of these people. We had the pleasure of asking one of the old employees to come back and see us. Spend the day with us. As the people make this entire island. From the Bellhop, to the entertainment crew, to the servers & bar staff, groundskeeper, to Mr. Brown with Majestic Tours. Rooms: outdated!!! Period! This hotel needs a fresh coat of paint. Food: Most of it is good. You'll always be able to find something to eat here. (One of the gals in the morning making eggs, in the skillets on 7/10 she was a little hateful.) Read less

we visited Breezes and while i have to agree with some of previous reviewers that hotel can use major upgrade, let me pount out good things about it, the “standard bufett” food that some complain anout is rather good, especially fish! personally not a fan of chicken…. sit down restaurants are great and unlike other places, you do not need reservations, they do have seating time and if you show up 15 minutes prior, you most likely will get in… and last few “bad” things for off chance that their food and beverage manager reads this “ only in piano bar I came accross a bartender who knew how to mix a martini, and he did not have proper glasses, he knew that and appologized, mixed me a double dose and served in margarita glass, je was great… and another bar did not have cognac at all, so, Mr. manager put a set of martini glasses and cognac in the budget, not for me but to enable your hard working wonderful staff to do their jobs lasy, I’d like to mention great staff, all around, from Diego at front desk to mu personal favoritedoctor of mixology” at piano bar-Wenzel, pool crew is fenomenal… Read less

We read the reviews and knew what we were getting… we were three 40+ women escaping our families and jobs for a few days- and it was wonderful! We are teachers, so we made sure to travel outside of the student travel dates. We were surprised to find that we were given great rooms uponcheck-in, probably because they were turning over the hotel from the student travel groups in the days prior. Our rooms were clean, the air conditioning worked, and I did not have any complaints. All the staff we encountered were pleasant. Our favorite was G, who worked as a beach butler. It was worth renting a cabana! We did eat at the three specialty restaurants, and Garden of Eden was not that great. The buffet was fine and had many options. The piano bar was a great, cool place to hang out. There was nightly entertainment, and the band on Sunday night was very entertaining and engaged the entire crowd, although the songs were a little older. Overall, I would call this a fun place to go on a wonderful beach. It is not a place I would go for a romantic luxury getaway, but it fit the bill for a girls trip. The “beaching not teaching” crew would return! Read less
