It has a good location, the staff is friendly. But if you are in for the amenities, this is not the place to stay. A couple of things to caution you about: check-in is at 4 PM and despite that being a late hour, I and others still had to wait an additional hour to get into my room. If you have any physical disabilities, such as arthritic knees, you will have to walk up additional stairs once you get off of the elevator to get into the rooms. If I had known that, I would have requested a room at the beginning of the hallway so that there wouldn’t be so much stress and strain on my knees. It’s not a bad place to stay. But again, it is simply a hotel. Read less

The hotel is good located in downtown, it is clean enough my room and the washroom, so far the food at the hotel has been very good, no complaint for that, the safety deposit was quite high compared to other hotels, but looks is the standard amount in Bahamas, the staff very friendly.

What a wonderful hotel. The beach resort area was gorgeous. Staff were super friendly. Had a wonderful time. Will definitely go back after my next dive trip. And you’re staying in a really piece of history. Beautiful interiors great bar for the evenings with an outdoor cigar lounge and fire tables

Clean room and bathrooms Only issue is a very small mildew area in the bathroom. This has always been my favorite hotels in Nassau from I was a child. The location is perfect with it being in the center of Bay Street. The front desk clerks has always been very customer friendly and professional.

We stayed here for a week and felt we were in paradise. The staff were really friendly and welcoming, apart from the lady on reception when we checked in. She was having a bad day! The room and bathroom were sparklingly clean and spacious. The pool area was well appointed with plenty of loungers and pods. We were able to use a pod everyday, with no issues or reservations required. The beach was easily accessible and beautiful, as to be expected. There wasn’t a lot going on in the town, apart from when the cruise ships came in but we were looking to relax by the pool so that did not cause us any inconvenience. The food in the hotel was lovely but we did feel their choice was limited, especially towards the end of the week, as there were very few alternative options nearby. The highlight of our stay however was the live music we listened to on our first night. A local singer, Patrice Murrell, was singing in the bar and she was amazing. We were really lucky to hear her sing on a second night in the week too. Definitely not to be missed. I would go back simply to listen to her again! Read less
