The hotel

There’s a certain seaside feel at the revamped Cadillac Hotel & Beach Club – and it doesn’t just come from its location, virtually anchored to the sands and boardwalk of Miami Beach. Its guestrooms are decked out in cool whites, greys, and navy blues for a refreshing coastal feel; while the finishing touches have a hint of the Art Deco heritage this ocean-skirting oasis is famous for. The latest hotel to make it into Marriott’s Autograph Collection, when you return hungry from the beach, or a dip in its two pools, or shopping in the nearby Design District, the Cadillac’s new restaurant welcomes you back with crispy rustic pizzas straight from its wood-fired oven, while the mixologist at its oceanfront bar shakes you their signature cocktails.

Where is it

On Miami Beach, a 30-minute walk or 5-minute taxi ride from the main Art Deco area along a wooden boardwalk. Driving time from Miami International Airport: 25 minutes.

357 rooms and Suites on 14 floors in 2 buildings (Cadillac Tower and Ocean Tower). All with air-conditioning, flatscreen TV, pay-per-view movies*, WiFi, telephone, mini-fridge, tea/coffee maker, bottled water, safe and iron and board. Standard City View rooms have 1 king-size or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

Loved this hotel! From the Luminous Perks to the restaurants and service and my room, it was all fabulous! The pools are lovely and there is a hot tub. 1 pool is just for adults and is a lovely infinity type of pool. The other pool is even bigger and is great for all ages. Then the hot tub is so nice and sort of tucked in a corner, it was great too! Next, my room was nice with a small ocean view balcony (free upgrade for being Marriott Gold) and my feather free bedding (per my request). The toiletries were all L'Occitane and there was a shower cap plus vanity amenities. The liquid soap and shampoo + conditioner in the shower were affixed to the wall and also by L'Occitane. No plastic waste here! The coffee maker was the fancy kind like a Nespresso, but they also had black tea! Plenty of snacks and minibar, which I did not partake. There was bottled fancy water and bottled fizzy water and free bottled water. Guests are entitled to 3 plastic bottles of water daily as it's the summer season! Beach towels were the same as pool towels and were included with the hotel (my resort fee was bundled with my booking!). 2 beach chairs were included for the beach and umbrellas were $25 extra. The balcony also had 2 chairs and a tiny table for drinks. Let's see what else...the lobby bar was delicious for drinks and food, as always. Loida remembered me from having eaten here before with friends who had stayed here almost a year ago! Loida was so so nice! The Bungalow by the Sea served great food consistently. Wesley and Yash, aka Josh, were great servers and Antonio made a fabulous minty mezcal cocktail! The buffalo hot sauce was the bomb with the fries and all the cocktails were great! Bungalow by the Sea also delivers drinks to the beachside, which I ran out of time for due to the rain! Ha! So, on my rainy day, I had an in-room massage! Normally they are done pool-side outdoors, but due to the crazy rain, for the same rate as outside, I had it in the privacy of my room. The masseuse was fantastic! Also, if you're here on a Friday night, they have a movie night by the adult pool and because of the rain, they had it on Saturday this weekend. I have to give a shout out to Melaney, who was a fantastic front desk/reception staff. She showed me around the property, gave me welcome champagne and sent me chocolate covered strawberries to my room for welcome amenity for reserving through the Luminous program! She was cheerful and friendly every single day that I saw her! Santiago was equally charming and friendly at the front. Last, but not least, I had a lovely dinner in the Donna Mare Tratoria on my last night and I had 20% off, thank you to the front desk for the coupon! My cioppino and red wine were fantastic and I happily ate outdoors in the patio area. Wait, I thought I was done and I have to say that of the various hotels that I have stayed at on Miami beach, this is the beach with the softest sand! It's the best! All in all, this place is fantastic and I will be back! It's worth every penny! Read less

Absolutely wonderful stay. The hotel was incredibly clean, staff were welcoming, happy, friendly and helpful. Miguel and Kevin where among the staff who stood out with their hospitality. Beach chairs were available for hotel guests. Such a pleasant experience all around. Loved the bake shop and the restaurant too!

Not the first time to stay here and every time is a nice experience, everything you might need you will find and it has amazing location. Also the staff there are so nice Danny T was so helpful and friendly at the beach i would recommend the hotel here it’s one of the best

I went to the beach with my friends and we got an amazing service by Danny T, so helpful, professional and kind. Really appreciate it, Thank you so much Danny! And also the breakfast is amazing, and I really want to say thank you to John too, who met us with a smile and such kindness when we had breakfast everyday. Thank you John!

Danny at the beach was so helpful in setting up my chair. He was very knowledgeable about the services they office for their guests. He was super friendly. Such a pleasant person to talk to. He pointed out where the free water and lotion was for the guests. We chatted about the weather since it was a cloudy day.
