This was our first visit since 2021. We were allocated a delightful room on the ground floor in a very convenient location close to the Courtyard swimming pool. It was spacious, well appointed and very comfortable. We thought the hotel looked and felt magnificent. It certainly seems to merit the recent Relais & Chateaux award! It is lovely to see Cap Maison attracting a more diverse clientele than we have previously seen. As usual the majority of the guests appeared to be from the U.S.A. and England however, the cricket World Cup also drew in some charming guests from the subcontinent who certainly added to the hotel’s ambience. We so enjoyed the food this year. The two restaurants were in top form! All the restaurant staff were terrific and we were particularly well looked after by the wonderful Deanne. Our lunches at the Naked Fisherman were heavenly and the lunch and dinners at The Cliff were as excellent as I have come to expect from Craig and his talented brigade. The showstopper was our dinner in the Wine Cellar. The location, the food, the fine wine all brilliantly presented by Robbie made it a truly memorable evening. Despite one of our fellow diners rather cheekily suggesting a requirement for more alcohol, we felt the balance of the wine pairing to the superb food we ate to be spot on. Cap Maison really can organise a soirée in a cellar! Well done Cap Maison! That was another wonderful stay. We will be back next year! Read less

Employees went above and beyond to make sure things were just right - even before the hurricane (near miss) they stocked us with water, snacks, and drinks. Room service was easy but slow. The Cliff restaurant was fantastic. Both views and food were terrific. Service was very friendly. The Naked Fisherman was perfect for beach lunch and drinks but very slow at dinner. Bring bug spray! Kids loved the outdoor hotel cats that live at the restaurant. Be wary of getting there and back. Ferry can be rough if ocean is, roads are constantly changing massive elevations and direction with innumerable switchbacks. Breathtakingly beautiful from land and sea though. Overall great experience Read less

A really lovely stay, albeit short, with good friends. Great food at both the Naked Fisherman for lunch and at the Cliff for lunch and dinner. The Trigger fish at TNF was some of the best I have had on the island. So fresh and lightly cooked as requested with a creamy mild pumpkin curry. Perfect. The Mango jalepeno cocktail is still a firm favourite. We had a villa with a jacuzzi this time. Very private. Quiet at night and during the day we could hear the entertainment at TNF. Lovely. The aircon has improved and even the sitting room was cool despite high temperatures outside. Housekeeping exemplary. Sailing with Dunstan outstanding and one of the highlights of the trip. He is a great teacher and also fun. Wine Cellar Dinner with our friends, Robinson and Ross also a highlight. I didn’t “quite” get drunk but a great time for all. Highly recommended. Xx All staff great. Tyler a real find. Keisha the new server also lovely as is Darrell. McKelly very sweet and will do well in the industry. Septima, Alison, Stacey (thanks for the hugs) , Deanne for keeping a straight face during the banter, But kudos to all of them. Good massage by Lisa - I should have gone to her earlier. Grounds also beautiful and lovely to see so many lizards scurrying about. Not too many mossies for a change. Is there a connection here? Despite being a resort the grounds look and feel natural . That is a difficult balance to achieve. The games lounge with the honesty bar much appreciated and used one night (quietly) until after midnight! One very very minor criticism. Local juices available at breakfast but would love to see more if these available at TNF to balance the mango jalepenos! In conclusion, another brilliant 1st Class visit enjoyed by all. Also the “after service” to to the impending Hurricane was exemplary and very much appreciated… Well done Ross,Craig, Jenny, Craig and the team. Already planning the next visit and for a whole week this time :-) Read less

A hidden gem. Incredible resort location, beach, food, rooms and service from the resort team! Located on the North of the island in Gros Islet. The beach is incredible as motorized vehicles are not allowed. Sailing with Datsen is a must!!!
