The hotel

The setting of this hotel is quite something. You'll be just steps from Tel Aviv's lively beachfront and a stroll to Jaffa Old City and the hip-and-happening Port. Check out the sights and smells of the vibrant Carmel Market and perhaps haggle for spices and local treats. It's not all about the location though. Little ones will love it at Dan Panorama — as well as making sandcastles, they can splash around in one of the largest pools in Tel Aviv and have fun in the kids’ club. And while they’re playing, you can head to the spa for some well-deserved me time.

This is an older hotel in need of renovations and upgrades. There are a number of things in hotel’s favor: excellent beachfront location, lovely sea views from balconies, good variety of food at breakfast and lunch and very friendly and accommodating staff. The rooms however are older, smaller, minimum amenities, even toiletries and towels are very basic and you have to ask for everything. Unfortunately also noticed a bug that might have gotten in from outside balcony( hopefully). The staff, including cleaners, is excellent. The food is good, both for breakfast and for a formal Shabbat dinner, but dining halls also easily dated to 80ies. The hotel offers late check out on Shabbat and offers candle lightning facility, and is attractive to observant families. If and when the facilities are renovated, this could again be a lovely hotel. At this time it still works well for organized groups, and service is good, but for personal travel and vacation would pick another beachfront hotel. Read less

: Disappointing Stay at Dan Panorama Tel Aviv I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay at Dan Panorama Tel Aviv from 19 April 2024 to 20 April Unfortunately, the experience did not meet the standards expected from such a reputed hotel. Upon our arrival on Friday, it took an excessive amount of time, approximately five hours, to provide a crib for our baby despite multiple requests (approximately six phone calls). This delay caused us significant inconvenience. Additionally, we encountered an issue with the refrigerator in our room, which was not functioning. This was particularly concerning as it compromised the effectiveness of medication stored inside for our baby. The quality of the meals provided also fell short of expectations. The dinner offered seemed more appropriate for a 1-star establishment, and the breakfast was equally disappointing. When I sought assistance from the manager on duty regarding these issues, the response was unhelpful, merely suggesting a possibility of late check-out and advising me to contact guest relations in a few days. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Dan Panorama Tel Aviv to others and would advise travelers to consider alternative accommodations. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and that steps are taken to address these issues to prevent future guests from having similar experiences. Sincerely Read less
