Overlooking the beach and close to Tel Aviv's bustling centre, the Dan Tel Aviv was one of the first luxury hotels to be built in the city. Having seen many celebrities walk the hallways, you'll feel like a celeb yourself when you step through the front doors and enter the modern splendour. You can choose between an indoor and outdoor pool, as well as a few different dining options. And at the end of a busy day (or night), retreat to your cosy room for some well-deserved down time.

The Dan Hotel in Tel Aviv was decades ago a nice hotel. Since then, it became neglected. The executive suite looks dark, the furniture and carpet would need a complete makeover. The access to and the pool area itself don’t look inviting at all. Those resemble more common areas of a 3 Star hotel.

Views towards the ocean are nice, the location is absolutely the best, however the rest not so much. Out of necessity of creating revenue, the hotel works also with large local groups (the cheapos!).
Encountering them at breakfast was a nightmare since those low class individuals think that they are at a
State fair and they absolutely have no consideration for other guests of the hotel. Every single one of them was loud and obnoxious. No manners.
Unfortunately at the current stage I can’t recommend this property, let alone the Dan being considered part of the LHW group.

Excellent service. From check in to check out we received excellent service. Especially from Joseph and also Meytal. Just a bit disappointed by the service at breakfast in the dining room which seemed a bit slow and disorganized.
The hotel location was excellent and near good public transportation options.
An absolute gem!

A very tired hotel sorely in need of updating.

What passed for a five star hotel in Tel Aviv in the fifties—or even in the eighties when this hotel was seemingly last updated—is no longer competitive. The hotel feels tired and sorely in need of updating and maintenance. Room furniture is beat up and worn, with really shabby carpet—at least in the deluxe city-view room category—and the pool area is sorely in need of a refresh and better maintenance—glass surrounding the deck area seemingly has not been washed in decades, reminding me of NYC subways in the seventies. The elevators are also really depressing, like a Time Machine to the days when Israel was a developing country. But what really lets the hotel down is the breakfast buffet. The dining room is poorly arranged, making even just reaching one’s table akin to navigating an obstacle course. And securing coffee is nothing short of an ordeal. A coffee stand staffed by just one server generates lines of guests worthy of a high school cafeteria. And if you should want milk for your coffee, it is not on offer at the coffee station or at the table. You have to go clear across the dining room to the cold cereal section of the buffet with your hot cup of coffee. And the food offerings just don’t compare favorably with what the competition is doing. But, front desk staff were helpful and welcoming, which cannot always be said about everyone in the Israeli hospitality industry.
