Where is it

The island of Dhigali is located in Raa atoll. You will be met at Malé International Airport and escorted to the common lounge “Neeri” at the seaplane terminal, where you can enjoy complimentary access whilst you wait for your transfer. Transfer time from Malé International Airport: 45 minutes by seaplane (remember to pack light for the seaplane transfer as luggage allowance is 20kg plus 5kg hand luggage, per person).

Dhigali’s elegantly designed villas feature clean and minimalistic décor, with modern furniture and natural textiles. All rooms feature a safe, tea/coffee-making facilities, premium mini-bar (included, replenished once daily), boutique bath amenities and LCD TV. Beach Bungalows are just steps from the shore, with an open-air bathroom, lavish semi-open rainfall shower, as well as a wide, covered veranda with private sun loungers to laze on. With 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 people.

Deluxe Beach Bungalows are designed with the same elegant style and features of the Beach Bungalows, but with additional space. With 1 king-size bed, and an additional bed or baby cot on request, sleeping maximum 3 people.

Water Villas are located over the crystal waters, within paddling distance of the house reef. Each villa features an oversized wooden sundeck with steps down to the sea, a daybed, and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 people.

Beach Villas feature a bathroom spanning indoor and outdoor space, with a rainfall shower and a deep tub. There is also an expansive deck overlooking the beach and Ocean, with sun loungers and direct beach access. Extra bed or baby cot available on request. With 1 daybed and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 4 people.

Beach Villas with Pool provide magnificent sea views, a bathroom spread across inside and outdoor space, and an expansive covered veranda leading to the beach with sun loungers and a private plunge pool. Extra bed and baby cot available on request. With 1 daybed and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 4 people.

Lagoon Villas with Pool are built on stilts above the lagoon, with tranquil views and a private plunge pool. The spacious, airy bathroom has a freestanding bath and opens onto the deck, where there are steps into the water. With a daybed and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 people.

Beach Suites with Pool are located are secluded and spacious waterfront hideaways, with an indoor/outdoor bathroom, a wide front veranda, and an oversized plunge pool. With 2 daybeds and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 4 people.

The Dhigali Suite is an impressive sanctuary on the edge of the beach with its own courtyard. With an open-air bathroom, chic interior with modern amenities, and an expansive sundeck and infinity pool looking out to the Indian Ocean. This suite feature personal butler service, a private bar, and a home theatre system. With 2 bedrooms (including a large master), an extra bed or baby cot on request, 1 king-size bed and 1 set twin-beds, sleeping maximum 6 people.

From the airport, Digali Resort managers were kind and helpful. I gain weight because the food is delicious. many There are many different facilities so you won’t get bored. We provide the best conditions during your stay. I regret going back to Korea. It was the best honeymoon. Thank you!

Absolute paradise!!! All I can say is WOW!! We came for ten days and had the most amazing time. Every single member of staff is wonderful. From the bar and restaurant staff to the room cleaners, they are all so friendly and efficient and they all work so hard. The island itself is incredible. Dhigali has it set up beautifully, with a shuttle buggy that circles the island in case you don’t want to walk. You can keep a track of it on their fantastic app. The WiFi is great and you can access it all over the island. There are 3 restaurants for your evening meal, Battuta, Jade and Faru which are all incredible. You are encouraged to book these places on the app to ensure you get the time you want. The choice of cocktails, champagne, wine, spirits and beers is fantastic. There are 2 bars on either end of the island, both are fab. The Haari bar has a sunset DJ on from 5.30-7pm playing fantastic tunes whilst the sun goes down. We had many cocktails watching the beautiful sunset over our 10 day stay. The DJ then moves over to the other bar, East, and plays until midnight. We were able to watch the Euros whilst we were there on the big screen at East bar. Even when the matches were on at midnight (due to the time difference in Germany) the staff still served drinks and happily stayed until the end. I had a 2 hour treatment in the spa which was AMAZING!! I felt so wonderfully pampered afterwards. We are gutted to have to leave the Dhigali bubble and will return! Read less

A short anecdote on the service. On our last night, our 'host' or assigned staff member approached us during the afternoon and enquired on our dinner reservation. We mentioned we really enjoyed the Indian restaurant (Batuta), however it wss fully booked that night. Later that evening whilst at the sundowner beach bar known as the Birds Nest (on the complete opposite side of the resort) we were strangely told by the barmen (during a busy bar service) that we had a call behind the bar. When we answered the phone, it was our host informing us that there was a cancellation and she managed to secure us a reservation at Batuta that evening. The fact that a simple conversation was actioned in such a way where she went our of her way to ensure we were happy, has stayed with us forever and quite simply sums up why I couldn't rate this resort highly enough. Coupled with the snorkeling and beaches, it's a no brainer for us if we return to the Maldives. Read less
