Beach was lovely but a little expensive $100 for 2 loungers and a parasol. Pools were nice we went to the adults only pool a lot very quiet and restful. Plenty of shops and restaurants on site you must try the ICECREAM was so good always a queue to get in but worth it. Rooms were cleaned to a high standard plenty of towels every day. We went to the kayak over the road for a few meals that was very nice as well. Didn’t like the red lobster round the corner not nice at all. Entertainment in the tapper bar in the evenings but finished around 9.45pm and the bar closed about 10 pm a bit earlier I think.we enjoyed it here and would return Read less

My husband and I stayed here a few years ago and then again last week with our kids. We love this property because it’s away from the super busy Waikiki Beach but close enough to be able to walk to. She was courteous, friendly, professional and engaging. We even had a few laughs with her. She made the check-in process very smooth and answered all of our questions. We will definitely be staying here again! Read less

Impossible to get a coffee anywhere on campus at 8 am on a Sunday. Unless you wait 30 minutes in line. Incredibly long check - in lines. If you don’t like crowds don’t bother. Staff is friendly. The hotel is woefully understaffed for the amount of people.

I'm reading reviews of my favorite hotel in Hawaii and I'm flawed at the absurdity. The Hilton Hawaiian Village is a great hotel. Yes the rainbow tower is slightly dated but the room views are spectacular esp corner rooms. Plus if your spending that much time in your room your not very bright. The hotel is on the beach so yes it can get dirty and some people are slobs. I don't expect it to be perfect. Yes it gets busy at check in and I wait too but they do their best. Dining options are good and vary and yes it's pricey but it's Hawaii what do you expect. No microwaves and I'm ok with that. Yes the beach outside is rocky blame the tide not the hotel and look down the beach for less rocks or quieter spot. There's plenty of room for everyone. I will agree the parking price is too much but whatever. Those of you who complain about no activity for kids then find another place and let people like me enjoy my vacation. It's a beach vacation in a stunning and fun place, enjoy people! Hilton reps if you read this contact me bc I beyond love it at this hotel. I watch earth cam all day from HHW and it just makes me feel so good. My 3rd stay coming up in September and I can't wait! Read less

After hauling our luggage to the area we thought was our room, the number written on our keycard didn't exist. We called the front desk and they refused to tell us the correct room number. We had to wait for security to arrive and verify idea and then they called the front desk to tell us where the actual room was...strike 1. Strike 2 was the pools. In the pictures, they look fun. In reality they are dangerously crowded. If a fire marshal stopped by, they would have been shut down. There are no life guards and I was concerned for my kids trying to reach the steps, getting pushed away by grown adults. We made them leave even though that was the reason for choosing this place. The staff seemed very unhappy to be there. Save your money and stay out of Waikiki. Read less
