You hear from each room the noise of the swimming pool. i had one on the groundfloor. unfortunately i couldnt change. too much noise. then the minibar was empty! in a Hilton hotel? really? Of course becuause at the bar they make more money Finally at the bar i had some beers and simply wanted to order some nuts for having a beer. They dont have. They even dont try to find a solution. So its a Hilton brand hotel with no nuts at the bar and very noisy. For paying almost USD 500 per night, I expect at least a full minibar and some nuts to the beer All in all not worth the price. Compared to previous stays, it seems this place is declining. Although somewhat out of the hotels control, it seems there is more partying crowds than before. Compared to previous stays, it seems this place is declining. Although somewhat out of the hotels control, it seems there is more partying crowds than before. For example, routinely we dealt with second hand smoke when using the balcony (which ruined beautiful views), constant stereo use on the beach, and by guests that are excessive. They also don’t enforce their policies which would, so people go and take nice areas on the beach/pool etc., but don’t actually use the space. This leads to issues like birds getting in belongings if people bring food and leave it and trash being everywhere on the beach because they don’t attend the property after they set it up. If these things are not important to you, then it is a great place. I am not sure that it would bother everyone, but it bothered us as a family. Trying to find more of a “family oriented” place after this trip, especially for the price and extra fees that don’t seem to add up to stated values provided. I hope this helps everyone! Read less

My wife and I had another great stay at our favorite resort. We stayed for 6 nights. We have been staying at the Hilton Marco Island Resort for over 20 years and the most recent stay was perfect. This year we had friends also book a room and they loved it!My friends already said that they will be returning. It takes more than a great location with good food and drinks to make you love a place, it takes a great staff. The staff at this hotel makes us feel like family. So many of the staff members have worked at this location for years. The bellman Miguel was very nice and also greeted us each morning during our stay. The front desk staff of Rachel, Mallory, Jillian and Kevinson are amazing! Jeff at the pool also welcomed us back and the new pool supervisor Ben was very friendly snd never stopped working. Having a long service, friendly, great staff starts at the top and the General Manager James Garcia is always present and welcoming. In speaking with him I can tell how passionate he is about providing the best guest experience and having only the best employees. These are the reasons why as a Diamond Member who can choose to vacation anywhere, my family (and now my friends) choose the Hilton Marco Island. We want to thank the staff for another great vacation. Read less

I am an unbiased reviewer and try to be sincere in my reviews, so here goes… First, I highly recommend Marco Island. It is a beautiful place and has lots of quaint shops and restaurants. Just don’t go during the winter when the snowbirds return. The Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort can’t decide what it is. It pretends to be a high end Caribbean resort with the high room rates, and beach views, but the service level is more like a Hilton Garden Inn. The Good: Spring for the ocean view room, it is amazing at sunset. The beach is very nice and you can swim in the ocean when the water is warm enough. There are plenty of shells to pick up. The crowds are not too bad and the beach chairs and umbrella are complementary. The pool is kind of small, but it is nice. The room was large and was modern and well equipped. The Bad: No valet and parking is hard to find when busy. Low water pressure in the shower. They make you wear a plastic wristband the whole stay like some $20 water park - dumb. Food is ridiculous. 2 people : breakfast $70, dinner $200. The food was not very good. The breakfast buffet is worse than an Embassy Suites. Much better and cheaper options off property. There is nothing available before 7AM, not even coffee. Nothing really to eat for lunch at the little shop except small pizzas. The maid did not sweep or vacuum well so we had sand on the floor the whole visit. Spa is way overpriced. Once again, better cheaper options off property. No food or drink service on the beach. You have to walk 100 yds to get anything. TIPS: Get the ocean view room. Fly into Ft Lauderdale and drive over. Eat at local restaurants for breakfast and dinner. Lunch food can be purchased at the local grocery. If you don’t want to venture out for breakfast, there is a fridge in the room – stock up at the grocery. OVERVIEW: We would definitely come back to this place despite the bad food and lack of service. The views and the beach make up for the hotels poor attempt to be a resort. Read less
