Just returned from Leblanc on July 13th - wife and I celebrated our 40 year anniversary. This was our second stay at Leblanc, and it keeps getting better (if that's even possible). Room - we had the lagoon view (832), and it was all we needed. The bed is comfortable, and the room has everything you need. The A/C worked good - but not great. Food - All of the food was excellent. Yama was our favorite, followed by Bella. We tried them all. The breakfast/lunch buffet in Blanc was very good. Room service was also very good. Pro tips: At the restaurant, we didn't even order from the menu - we just asked the waiter to bring us food/drinks that he/she suggested, and we never left hungry. Drinks - blackberry margarita is the house drink, and it is very good. They have all of the top shelf liquors. Staff - the staff is awesome, all of them. Butlers were a nice touch. Pools - The pools (3) were awesome. They set you up and keep the drinks and food coming. Every day at the main pool around 3 o'clock, there is something special planned. They serve Churros at 3:30 - be sure and try them! Spa - We had several treatments and they were all awesome. Do the hydrotherapy its free! Entertainment - The Lava club is very fun. Every night is something different - band, dj, karaoke, etc. We went almost every night and had a blast. Beach - beach is awesome, and they will really take care of you. Vendors walking by with stuff to sell- a simple no thanks and they keep moving. We bought a few things. There is parasailing and jet skis close by. Gym - gym is great for a resort with really nice machines and dumbbells. There is a separate room for palades (sp?). Transportation - We had the complementary transportation through Leblanc and it was really good. When you get your bags at the cancun airport, you will be bombarded with folks trying to get you transportation. Just keep walking until you see the palace resorts guys with white shirts and beige pants - these instructions are also on the confirmation letter they will email to you. Print that letter and have it handy. Resort Clientele - We met so many nice people from all over the world. We did not see one rude person the entire trip. Excursions - We NEVER left the resort - other than walking down the beach, so I can't really offer any advice on excursions. Other tips - - Download the leblanc app. On the home page of the app, you can chat with a concierge, and they can handle any request. Our flight was delayed, and I was able to alert them thru the chat and change the transportation. You can also make all of your dinner reservations using the app many months in advance - you will need your confirmation number. I had made all of our dinner reservations for 7:00, but ended up changing most of them to 8:45 so we could enjoy the pool/beach longer. The app chat or your butler can help in changing the reservation. The app has a calendar that has all of your appointments and reservations, and is really handy. - Empty your bladder before you deplane in Mexico. It takes a while to get thru customs, get your bags, get to your transportation, and get dropped off at the resort. The womens bathrooms in the MX airport were really crowded. - If you buy liquor on your way back in the duty free shops in the cancun airport, you will have to transfer it to your checked baggage once you reach the states - so make sure you have room. - There is plenty of shopping and good food in the Cancun airport (jimmy Buffets, Bubba Gump Shrimp, etc) - so get there early and have a stress free couple of hours before you have to board your flight. - The Blanc restaurant has a breakfast and lunch buffet. At lunch, they have a section of raw seafood, steak, and onions, peppers, and mushrooms. You put that on your plate and they will stir fry it for you. If you like spice, tell the cook to spice it up. It was awesome. - I brought $200 in one dollar bills, and $200 in 5 dollar bills for tipping. You don't have to tip, but you will want to, believe me. You can also break large bills at the front desk area. Kept the money, along with our wallets and passports in the safe in the room, and just grabbed a handful of 1s and 5s every day. We did tip 20 - 30 for dinner, but again, its not required. - On departure day, use the app to pay any remaining balance and check out just consists of cutting off your wrist band. Your wrist ban opens your room door so you don't have to keep track of a key. You also use it to enter/exit the beach area. - There is an ATM in the lobby but I didn't use it - so I'm not sure if it gave US or Pesos. - There is a nice gift shop with pretty much anything you need - a little expensive. - We did the presentation for the resort club. They gave us $1500 in spa credits. Set a timer on your phone and when 90 minutes is up - stand up and never sit back down. We thought it was well worth it. Thats all I have! We really loved this resort and plan to return many more times! Read less

First off, I want to start this review with the fact that we have stayed at other AAA 5 Diamond resorts in the greater Rivera Maya area (Secrets Akumal and Unico) and the service and food are head and shoulders above the others. First off, I want to start this review with the fact that we have stayed at other AAA 5 Diamond resorts in the greater Rivera Maya area (Secrets Akumal and Unico) and the service and food are head and shoulders above the others. The food is the best I have ever had at any resort or on any cruise. Also, I have many strict dietary restrictions and the executive chef met me upon check in to let me know that they had received all my information and him and his team were going to personally oversee my meals. I would text the butler (yes you get an assigned butler) what restaurant and menu items I would want and they would prepare it per my dietary restrictions. A special shout to Chef Eric for personally greeting me and reviewing the order at every dining experience. Unparalleled service! We enjoyed and hanging by the main pool and overlooking the beach. Again the staff is extremely attentive for your every need. I would also recommend the included hydrotherapy at the spa. It's not a large resort by any means, but the the service, food, and quality more than make up for any lack of more grounds space. Only negative would be that they did not carry my two favorite tequilas, Fortaleza and LALO. Would highly recommend to anyone! Read less

We just returned from our visit to the Le Blanc Cancun. In short, we had a delightful visit, in spite of the Hurricane Beryl. The hotel ran perfectly, the restaurants operated as well as they always operate, and other than a rainy day or so, our visit was perfect. We've been to this Le Blanc many times, and it has never failed to deliver the finest service and quality accommodations. The management and staff pulled together, performing any job function that was understaffed due to the storm, staff stayed over night, at the risk of their own homes to protect the facility. I look forward to returning to this extraordinarily operated resort. The staff, each and every one, met and substantially exceeded every expectations. Thank you for maintaining composure, for your team work and for ensuring the safety of the guests!!! David S. Klein, MD Tracy E. Klein Read less

My wife and I visited LeBlanc Cancun from June 26th- July 6th, and all I can say is WOW. I’m sure everyone has a unique experience, and no experience is alike, but ours was phenomenal from A to Z. It began with Joe, the resort greeter welcoming us with his big smile, giving us cold towels for the heat and taking our bags to check in staff who gave detailed welcome instructions to the resort. The resort itself is beautiful with breath-taking pool views and a spacious, comfortable beach. Anyone who frequents Cancun knows not all beaches are created equal, and LeBlanc has a clean, comfortable, wide beach that is maintained by hard-working staff. The resort itself is amazingly well maintained by the wonderful housekeeping staff (including Rosa) and the pool area cleaning women (including our favorite Griselda). Now let’s talk about what makes this resort 5-star, and that’s the staff and gastronomy. The resort has 5 great restaurants for whatever it is you’re craving. If you crave Italian, Asian, French, Mexican, or a nice steakhouse meal, LeBlanc Cancun will satisfy you. Your tastebuds will be happy with all the different flavors you’ll experience. If you have a sweet tooth, well then you’ll be happy to know they have an ice cream parlor and a café with baked sweets. All these amenities would be nothing without the most important key factor to this resort, and that’s the staff. Where do I begin talking about these wonderful, warm, kind-hearted people? They are amazing and take so much pride in their work. They pay attention to detail and are genuine with their actions. Our butlers Brito and Eder were always there to help us with any inquiry we had. A very big thank you to breakfast staff at Blanc: Erick, Manuel, Magdalena and Diana, and Raul at Terreza. My wife and I had our daily lunch at the pool, and we were waited every day by Leonel, Betty, and Josue. By the second day at the pool, Leonel knew what I liked to drink and eat. Without me having to tell him, he would come with a refill. The dinner staff will make you feel like royalty and will describe in detail the dinner you’re about to consume. Miguel, restaurant manager, always greeted us with a warm welcome and checked on us during and after the meal. Bella and Eduardo at Yama made sure that we were comfortable and happy with our meal. Wait staff that made our dinners memorable were Luis and Fausto at Blanc, Yuri, and Pascual at Bella, Hernan, Elias, and Juana at Yama, Johnny and Luis at Lumiere. Lobby Bar and Cavo Bar bartenders Hector, Renan, Julio, Sebastian, and Angelica are master mixologists and will make you a great drink (or 2 or 3). Thanks to Manuel at Kakau for recommending great pastries. Pool and beach staff Lucinda, Cesar, and Jesus were staples of amazing hospitality and made sure we had towels and cold drinks all day. Oh, and did I mention we experienced Hurricane Beryl while being there? Yea, not fun, but staff reassured us we would be fine in the hotel and went above and beyond to keep everyone safe. Bravo LeBlanc staff! I cannot thank you all enough for your service, and I can't wait to be back to create new memories with you all. Again, muschismas gracias por todo! - Christian and Victoria Martinez Read less
