Was very disappointed in this resort. We didn’t know until we arrived, that’s it’s due to be demolished in July, so the maintenance hadn’t been maintained. Our room itself was ok, with an enormous bed. But the sofas were stained and smelly. The bathroom ceiling came down on our last day, due to a flood in the room above. Although the staff were apologetic, they weren’t in a rush to fix it, and it took us 3 complaints till someone came to fix it. The food was so repetitive, chicken and rice, with leftovers reheated from the previous meals.. there was hardly any entertainment, and guests were often left to entertain themselves. We did however meet some lovely people, the lovely Richard and Mary, Elaine and Mally, Paul and Rita, harry and rosemary, Rose and Alan, cherry & Annie,(hello to you all if your reading this) the staff were great, especially Molly, Jerry and Patricia. Despite some negative reviews I’d read myself and my daughter had a two week holiday in St Lucia, staying at Mystique by Royalton @ Reduit Beach. We had a great holiday and enjoyed the accommodation and the service we received there. The hotel had only a few guests so they facilitated A’ La Carte dinning the majority of evenings. We did not eat the same meal twice, great options and very well cooked and presented. Stand out staff were Aretha in the bar most evenings, a lovely lady who looked after us extremely well. There was a tall slim mature man who worked evenings, didn’t catch his name but he had a fantastic way about him and he looked after us for evening meals. Gemi in the bar and sometimes restaurant was a most friendly man. Who added to our holiday. I do also say that all the staff we encountered were great and looked after us extremely well. On our last day I went to reception and came across Crystal, she’d looked after myself and my daughter on previous holidays on that strip of beach in two other hotels. It was fantastic to she her again just gutted I was not aware she was now working at the Mystique until our last day. Crystal is St Lucia for us and we remember her and previous holidays in St Lucia. Thank you all at Mystique by Royalton, so sad the hotels along that beach are due to be redeveloped and we will not have the opportunity to return to the same spot in it’s current carnation. Thank you all we both had a fantastic time. Read less

Beautiful scenery of the beach. You can never wake up on the wrong side of the bed there. Location is also great pretty close to a lot. The rooms feel a bit old but I like the TV sets in it. Oh plus the Rum punch they serve as a welcome drink is absolutely fantastic

Loved the daytime acctivaty by the pool CHANTAL and JERRY do a fantastic job entertaining all ages with fun games and quizzes and kareoke & Jerry often sang requests for people . What a and great entertainment talent he has people would ask is JERRY here today.such a popular guy with the guests too Alma Pamerla,&Joahanna were great waiteresses at breakfast always a smiling and happy.greeting from them three Breakfast was on another level apart from the lady at the egg station who cooked my perfect poached eggs every morning There were greasy hash browns The bacon was always over cooked burnt and rock hard would break up into pieces if you tried to cut it .Have to say most days was inedable There was very little fresh fruit on offer to the end of the stay there were some.yogut Dinner was about the same as breakfast Every thing over cooked dried up and burnt very little choice chicken in some form or fish Mac cheese was so burnt one day you could not get it out the serving dish alway served Rice of some form. Very little choice of desserts some times all gone by 8.30pm Beach resterant staff did not want to serve you would just turn there backs or say we dont have any. Very little entertainment in the evening Apart from counrty night on Tueday which ended at 10pm and Kareoke on thursday which carried on longer due to jerry the entertainment guy doing it other artists were awful and to loud when they bothered to turn up at all. Like the comments in the previous report I also had problems with the woman in reception attitude towards us. Equiring if I could book the Chic resterant for the saturday night and She snapped at me in an agressive manner " ITS NOT OPEN TOMORROW" I said I was asking about Saturday not tomorrow.reply."BOOK FRIDAY" This is not the first time This has happened with this receptionistshe has a bad attitude to guests Thanks Chantal & Jerrys for the fun entertainment in the daytime Alma Patrica Johanne and our super cleaning lady also jeffrey at watersports Read less

Just returned from a two week stay here and have stayed here before a good few years ago. Yes, the appearance of the rooms/hotel is not the same as previous but where would be? My guess is the plan for redevelopment is partly due to this. I visit St Lucia often, sometimes two or three times a year but this visit was a difficult experience at first, one staff members at the front desk appeared to take an immediate dislike to me, not sure why but it made me feel as though raising any issues I had was a waste of time, the staff member was just so dismissive and condescending. Fast forward, it appears another staff member contacted senior management about the hostile behaviour and I was contact by Josh (I think his name was) and my gosh everything changed and for the inconvenience of some of the issues I was upgraded too a beachfront room. The room was amazing, some issues but we are where we are and I didn’t;t bother report them - the room was usable and comfortable with a beautiful view. Nicole, Nicole, Nicole she is a real gem she does all she can to make you stay comfortable, I really hope she and many of the other staff are relocated to other nicer places when this hotel closes. All of other front desk staff are so lovely and welcoming, They all do such a good job I thank you all for making our stay enjoyable. Food, dinner a little repetitive, having said that if you couldn’t find anything we were asked what it was we wanted and I guess if something simple it would have been made for us but we did not want to trouble anybody. This didn’t happen often, there is something for everybody but we were there for sometime so getting bored of the food is expected. Breakfast was great, lunch was good you also have the beach bar from 11-6 with some good food. Drinks, good - daiquiris AMAZING The hotel does need redeveloping, we were moved here when the other hotel closed and to be honest, what we paid for two rooms and three adults on a All Inclusive plan for two weeks you can not get in the Caribbean with access direct to the beach. Swim-Up Bar… Try it you’ll like it. If you are coming here, the holiday will be what you make it, there was plenty of sun loungers, plenty of beds and shade on the beach - yes things needs upgrading and they will be, just enjoy the island. The location is A* also be sure to attend the street party on a Friday. Honest review. Read less
