The hotel is situated in a lush gardens of Dubai Marina and is spreading on huge portion of land. Everything is furnished impeccably, from gardens and beaches to hotel interiors and rooms. We were travelling as a big family and had 4 rooms. The rooms were beautiful, albeit a bit outdated but you could see and feel the effort and attention to every detail in the room so the older feel wasn’t noticable. Housekeeping was amazing but a bit late every day so we had to call them to remind them of room cleanup. Breakfast was amazing with good selection and tasty and high quality ingredients. Our biggest drawback was the ignorance of restaurant staff to allergic requirements of our party (my daughter is severely allergic to pistacios and cashews). Even though we informed the resort prior to our visit, at the time of check-in and in each of resort restaurants at the time of dining, there was every time at least one meal with cashews or pistacion on our table which is simply not acceptable. All in all - the resort is beautiful, but restaurant staff not on par. Read less
Image of the Tripadvisor rating Not getting the rooms we booked for the second time. Too much night noise in the laguna.

We were supposed to stay at the Residence building. However during the check-in we were not given the executive suite which was booked and paid for. Instead the hotel tried to squeese us into a smaller room pretending it was an upgrade. They tried to play the same trick on us during the previous visit and that time I thought it was just an error. Now I think it is a persistent bad management by the hotel. After much hassle and nerves, with the help of our travel agency, we were finally given adequate replacement rooms in the Palace building. But my trust in One&Only brand has been seriously undermined. As for our stay - it was Ok, but not great. There was too much noise during the night from the ships in the harbor, loud dancing music until 3am, so my wife could not sleep well. Then at 7:30am the music would sometimes restart. How can people live in tall residential buildings across the harbor, I don't know. We are not used to this level of noise. Read less

Just retuned from a long awaited 10 night stay at The Palace / One & Only Royal Mirage. We had a suite with a connecting room. First time at The Palace and added access to Manzil Club which is a must for the additional benefits such as afternoon tea and evening canapés and drinks. The dine around option is amazing with huge choice across a number of varied restaurants. Standard of dining is outstanding as is the incredibly sincere and warm service from every member of staff. The management team are highly visible and we had a number of visits with key people who genuinely wanted to ensure we had a great time. To sum up, our stay was a slice of heaven and every little request we made was delivered with no issues whatsoever. Without a doubt, one of the best family holidays we have ever had created by amazing people and management throughout Royal Mirage. We will be returning very soon. Read less
