Part of the Outrigger family, this is a premier hotel with well-equipped, spacious guest rooms ensuring a comfortable holiday base. The location is fantastic too, directly overlooking beautiful Waikiki Beach and just a stone's throw from shops, bars and restaurants. Even people who aren't staying here tend to wander into the lobby as it's filled with rare and historic Hawaiian artefacts, including a century-old koa canoe! The Hula Grill Waikiki is another local attraction, serving scrumptious breakfasts and romantic dinners beside the ocean. Duke's Waikiki is also right on the beach and perfect for an evening meal, complete with regular live music and hula performances. The swimming pool is beachside so you can enjoy the views of the sparkling blue waters, wherever you choose to set up camp for the day.

Our stay at our favorite place, the Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort was so awesome. We had not been there since pre-Covid. I didn’t realize how much I missed it. Everything was perfect. Even the occasional rain shower was a welcome friend. Holly at the pool blessed us so much. She was always eager to fetch us our drinks or meals. The live music was so fun. We were oceanfront on the 7th floor and we just left our doors open and we’re serenaded to sleep.
Thank you Outrigger for helping us enjoy Hawaii again.

We have stayed here a number of times and found this hotel meet all our expectations. We live on the island and have stayed at other ocean front hotels in Waikiki and found this the one for us. The atmosphere is wonderful, all the staff were friendly, and we loved the environment and entertainment on the patio every night. Duke’s on Sunday music with Henry Kapono is a real treat. We have stayed in the ocean view rooms but now stay in the ocean front rooms and more recently the suites that include the Club 47. The club was ok and offered the minimum but the ambiance was nice and the view was spectacular. If you can spend a little more for the ocean front rooms, it offerers the best experience. Recommend floor six and above so the palms are not blocking any views. Would recommend brining your own little beach chair if you have one. The ABC stores nearby have your every day needs.

Beautiful hotel, excellent ocean view room and friendly, helpful staff. Loved the Hula Grill and Duke's Restaurant. Food was great and prices comparable to the area. International Market across the street.

We flew in a day early by accident (forgot about the date line after our South Pacific cruise) and the staff worked it out. Our flight home was at midnight and after checkout we were still allowed to use the pool with complementary access to a "hospitality room" to clean up afterwards. That was certainly better than hours sitting at the airport.

Superb location on beach with amazing shopping a few feet away. Nice pool. Large room on 5th floor with very small bathroom and some street noise. Check-in and out was fast and staff, pleasant. Parking at $50/night was not inexpensive, but staff were professional, friendly, and prompt. Only three elevators, but use modern call and dispatch system so not a problem. DUKE’S restaurant is great for a fun dining experience overlooking beach — good food, live music, and a lively crowd; very popular so there is often a wait. Only downside in our stay was the room was not serviced after the first night.
