The hotel

A laid back adults-only resort, the Radisson Blu Poste Lafayette Resort & Spa is in a beautiful location, overlooking a wonderful stretch of sandy beach. Where is it

In Poste Lafayette, on the north-eastern coast of Mauritius, overlooking a fabulous white sand beach and unspoilt turquoise lagoon. The hotel is just 10 minutes from Bras D’Eau National Park, 10 minutes from sister hotel Radisson Blu Azuri and 25 minutes drive from Grand Bay. Transfer time from Mauritius International Airport: Approximately 1 hour 15 minutes. Please note that if taking a seat in coach this may be longer depending on how many hotel stops are en route.

100 rooms. All with air conditioning, TV, complimentary WiFi, docking station, hairdryer, mini-bar* (included and daily replenished if booking All inclusive), safe, tea/coffee-making facilities, Nespresso machine* and shower room. Superior Rooms have 1 king-size bed, sleeping 2 adults.

All Inclusive option: includes buffet breakfast at Nautilus Restaurant. Buffet lunch at Nautilus Restaurant or à la carte (selected items) at Aqua Beach Restaurant. Buffet dinner at Nautilus Restaurant or à la carte (selected items) at Aqua Beach Restaurant or à la carte (with credit) at The Deck. Sandwiches from noon to 5.00pm. Afternoon tea. A selection of wines and drinks during lunch and dinner and a selection of drinks at Aqua Bar until 11.00pm, including imported brands. Pool and beach service* (selected items). Mini-bar (including beer, fruit juice, soft drinks and water (replenished once a day). Picnic baskets on request. Complimentary land and water sports (tennis balls*). Signature resort activities, including traditional line fishing, sega classes, cocktail classes and guided tour to Folkloric Flacq Market.

Superior Ocean Rooms face the Indian Ocean with a Juliette balcony, and have 1 king-size bed, sleeping 2 adults.

Superior Beachfront Rooms are on the ground or first floor and offer direct access to the beach via a terrace or a beautiful view of the preserved coast of Poste Lafayette from a Juliette balcony. They have 1 king-size bed, sleeping 2 adults.

Nautilus (buffet restaurant, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner), Aqua Beach Restaurant (bistro-style, open for lunch and dinner), The Deck ( à-la-carte restaurant open for dinner), Aqua Beach Bar (all-day drinks and afternoon tea).

Any way from cleaners to bar staff to the reception area .if you don’t like the food you just need to ask the chief and he will cook you something you like .no need to rush for sun beds plenty of them .1 Downfalls are tv in room could do with more English Chanel’s but you don’t go on holiday to watch tv so it is minor Read less

Mauritius is a must to go for vacation and recommend Radisson to stay with very friendly staff and Managers .. always helpful and kind. Rooms cleanliness in top level. Food with variety fresh choice. In overall the place to recommend and loved the beach surrounding.

I was royally treated by the whole team of Radisson Blu. The best place for a relaxing vacation. Room was perfectly cleaned and all attention to detail was provided. Service and food was awesome with variety of choices. I will like to thanks Mr. Ajay, Mr. Ravi, Kev, karishma ravishka for the excellent services.

We stayed at the Radission Blu Poste Lafayette Resort and Spa. On arrival at the hotel we were greeted and felt welcomed, had to wait for our room as wasn't ready until 2pm but this was not an issue as we arrived early at the hotel due to thr flight time. The room was spacious and clean with a seaview, shower water was luke warm which we did report but issue still remained, ants in room and drainage smell towards end of holiday - issues reported and maintenance were quick to resolve. Food quality was okay not the best we have had at an all-inclusive as spicy and not many options. The beach restaurant at lunch time was good for sandwiches and fanastic desserts. The staff are wonderful especially Harry, Avinash, the young man who served us in the beach restaurant (sorry couldnt remember his name) and Kirvan. However, all staff were fanastic and so efficient (no faults with anyone - a credit to the hotel). Diane in reception was wonderful with a fanastic happy personality. Cleaners all work so hard and are a credit. They brought clean beach towels each evening. Warren TUI Rep was so helpful and approachable - thank you. The hotel is perfectly located for the beach and sea for snorkelling. The infinity pool water is cold and could be heated but still good to have a quick swim. When it rains difficult to find anywhere to sit except under canvas near the bar outside on beanbags and low chairs, reception area has limited space and the lounge area is not very inviting upstairs. The entertainment in the evening was low key and had singers who were generally very good. We didn't use the SPA but used the complimentary showers after check out in the SPA which was a lovely environment and with hot shower water. The weather was a mixture of dry and rainy days but it is Mauritius' winter and felt we should have done our research on the weather for June and July months. We had booked to go on the 'Five Island Tour' but unfortunately was cancelled twice due to weather conditions at sea. The drivers who took us to the hotel and airport were professional and courteous. The Mauritius people are so nice and friendly - we will certainly be returning to the island. Thank you for making this a memorable holiday as this is a perfect holiday by the sea for relaxation. Amazing experience. We both were treated like VIPs.and we appreciated. All the extra miles they went to make our anniversary a special one. Very friendly and accommodating staff. We had a lovely time and a fanatic experience. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay a memorable one.
