Daniel, Eliena & Elvis from the Royalton fit team were all great instructors. The lessons were fun for all ages and fitness strengths. We looked forward to classes every morning - particularly those with the dumbbells. The team went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed to the resort, always friendly and happy to help.

We have just left this amazing resort and had a really great time. Don’t worry about the reviews as it’s about your own experience, some complaints are outside of the control, of the hotel. Here we go, we checked in following the UK BA Gatwick flight - advice - if you are not travelling Premium or Business, book aisle seats as it’s typically a full flight and you will be more comfortable. Transfer to hotel and hotel check in was seamless, no delays and waiting, welcome drink, porters immediately available. We were in our room and on the beach within two hours of landing. Our room was lovely, bar stocked, cleaned perfectly every day, however the view was probably the worst in the hotel, a white brick wall on the back of the restaurants. We didn’t complain and actually I’m glad we didn’t, it was quiet on the end of block 1 and probably six rooms had a similar view. If you are very specific about a view, garden, pool or sea, please submit a request before you arrive, we didn’t but I was able to work from the terrace with a coffee and it was lovely and quiet. It’s not a complaint. The plus points are you are near to everything. The beach - check the flags, this will give you some idea on how strong the sea is, and what will land on the beach! The seaweed is cleared daily but it’s there and a natural resource. Pick up a sea egg (we had never seen them before) and throw them back into the sea as turtles feed on them. Enjoy a beach stroll, Sandles resort to the left. Do speak to the beach people, they offer the best prices for trips and are licensed. Big shout out to CaptainJack for our trips, he is brilliant! We went fishing and to stingray city - highly recommend as pretty special! The beach is lovely and quiet with ample sunbeds and the water very warm, we loved it every day, beach in the morning, pool in the afternoon. It has been very hot 30-31 each day, a small amount of rain in the morning only, which brings me to the next point, when it rains, the furniture and lounger’s get damp or wet. I saw people taking 6-7 beach towels to dry the sunbeds, it was beyond infuriating, for gods sake, tilt the bed and the water runs offs and dries quickly. Never a need to reserve sunbeds, there are so many at beach and pool, no problem. Restaurants - download the App, you then book directly, if there is nothing available on the day, check and book ahead, we went to every restaurant (they rotate) more than once and they are all very good. We saw people rock up and the staff were very accommodating but the best times may not be available. The pool bar van station is also great. We had lunch in the buffet which was also very good. Remember this is not a huge resort but has everything with a huge variety and the best puddings I’ve seen. Entertainment - so much to do, the entertainment team are a great crew with activities running through the day and evening shows. Highly recommend the silent disco as so much fun. Bar service - pool bar during the day, the beach bar open for the Saturday beach party but otherwise wasn’t needed when the pool bar is open. Mediterranean bar open all day and the main bar in the evening, all great and will make you whatever you want. Estelle at the main evening bar makes the best Amaretto Sours! Music - it’s a fun place but not overkill, I liked the music around the pool bar and I would say it’s more disco rather than rap, everything from Neil diamond, Bee Gees to chart hits. All in all, don’t complain, ask if you want something as the staff are brilliant and friendly. I never heard the response as a no, it was always a solution response. We will be back that’s a definite. Read less
