Personally think this hotel is very overrated. We stayed for 2 nights, and we had bugs in our room both nights:some in the bed, all around the room and even bugs on the toilet role. The hotel is also like a maze to navigate yourself around which is abit frustrating, so just make sure you order a buggy to pick you up as you will get lost otherwise. During our stay, I was ordering drinks at the bar, and seen someone’s food order sitting on the side waiting to, and there was about 3/4 flys on the food, I told the worker that there was flys on the food, and he ignored an still took the food out. On to the positives, the view from the front overlooking the beach is very nice. One pool is modern, and one has broken tiles in the pool. We did a boat trip to Maya bay etc, and that was fantastic, especially the man who took us! Personally wouldn’t visit again. Read less

I think when checking in you should be made aware of the COMPULSORY 10 %SERVICE CHARGE and the 7 % VAT that will b added to the bill thats an extra addition to the already inflated prices this abit much ..shame on you management . Clearly state this please ...! Tip :- Go behind the restaurant there is a very very small village 3 or 4 bars its abit less expensive and no service charge . Was really looking forward to our stay at SAii but have left with mixed feelings. Easier to name the positives and the not so goods really: Positives: You have to get a boat here, so get out of Ton Sai and get to see the coast on the way here. Location is stunning, couldn’t ask for more and the see here is crystal clear and warm. So so warm like a bath at times. Staff are friendly and buggy service is great Views from the villas are fantastic and if you have a pool, then you are in for a real treat. Pool villas are great. So this is great, if you want to spend entire days at your pool villa. Real bonus and the pool is a decent size. Negatives: It is not a 5* resort in my opinion. There is a lot of things that need addressing. The restaurants are overly priced. Wine is expensive, but you all know that when travelling around Thailand. The grounds in places are not as pristine as they should be. Breakfast is ok. A lot of the warm food is tepid at best. Toaster takes four attempts to toast. Cocktails - literally the worst I have ever had. Sent it back twice as it was warm both times. Ended up just sending both cocktails back. Excursions are super expensive. 4400baht for Maya Beach trip compared to 2000baht if you book in the village. The village is worth while going to. It is only a 5 min walk and there are plenty of bars and restaurants worth visiting. Oasis and Pad Thai. Camelrock is a great bar at the end of the village. WATCH OUT FOR THE MONKEYS: a family descended on our pool villa in seconds and then three ran straight at us, snatch our crisps, then all of them (8/9) ran into the villa and ransacked it, stealing every bit of food there, whether it was open or shut. SAii Phi Phi Island Village is a great resort ideally located on Phi Phi Island. The separate cabins are set in beautiful gardens. The pools are excellent, although there could be more sun lounges. Breakfast was very good and the service was outstanding. The attached local village was a bonus with a number of great restaurants.
