This was our first stay at a Sandals resort and would definitely try an experience at another Sandals. Our room was beautiful in St. Vincent’s ! We had a corner room in building one on the third floor with a spectacular view of the ocean, pool area, and mountains! Our room was cleaned by Gleveshia who who did an outstanding job! However, it took a few days for replenishment of our beverages in the fridge. My first suggestion would be to issue 2 room cards per room upon check-in. There was never a problem getting chairs around the pool area. However, we sat at the pool alongside buildings three and four and it wasn’t until the last two days that towels were ready available at that pool. We would have to find towels at other pools. When Bertram was working bar service, he made sure that he came around several times for drink service at our pool area. Other than that, bar service was very minimal or non-existent. We found The staff to be very friendly. There was a lack of unfamiliarity with the layout of the resort with the staff. We played Pickleball several times and enjoyed playing with Tivoli! He was very professional and enjoyed playing with us! We did notice however there was no AED Machine, Emergency KIT or bathroom facilities all which are a must at pickleball and tennis courts. Evening Entertainment was lacking and the bar service shut down too early. It would be lovely if there was a game room available . Food was great. Our omelet chef at Sora was phenomenal for breakfast. She was the best! I just wish I remembered her name! Kerline at Sora was fantastic too. One suggestion, felt pads on the chair legs at Sora would be a nice addition so they don’t scrape on the tile floor every time you move. We really enjoyed our Dinners at Butch’s, Scrimshaw, Sora and Gatszu Gatzsu, La Crema and the Salad/Pizza shop. All in all, it was a lovely week with friends. We understand the resort is fairly new and still needs to work out some kinks, but we made beautiful memories.

Oh where do I even begin. So much to see and so much to do. This place looks like it was taken out of a story book and dropped into the most serene backdrop with the mountains around it. We stayed for 5 days and I enjoyed it all from start to finish. We were greeted by a welcome song and on our departure day we were greeted with a farewell song. We had welcome drinks, cool towels, and an extremely fast check in.
The room was spectacular even for a standard bamboo room. It had a place to hang clothes, a mini bar area, a tea area, a huge walk in shower with a tub, huge bedroom, and a beautiful balcony with another tub! From the room, we were able to see the lush greenery and beautiful ocean. My only tiny complaint would be that the room didn’t have any outlets in the bathroom and as a female I couldn’t blow dry or straighten my hair in the mirror.
All the restaurants had great food. My favorite was Butch’s. You must make a reservation immediately. The popcorn shrimp at Scrimshaw was delicious and the Nashville chicken sandwich at Parisol is a real treat. We mostly got Sora for breakfast to have a variety at the buffet. Never did get to try it for lunch or dinner but we had amazing food options. Got ice cream and coffee from Crema and got Isola for some late night pizza. On our last day, we even did a candlelight dinner and the food was out of this world and I’m a picky eater. Jerk shack was a great place to grab a quick snack. I do wish they had the beef patties when I was there because they kept running out.
All of the staff were polite and hospitable. They always wanted to make the stay memorable for us. I purchased the epix photo package and had a blast taking pictures all over the grounds. All of my photographers made sure we had some amazing shots. Some photographers were even kind enough to stay a little later after my candlelight dinner to take pictures. Just this little gesture meant the world to me and I have photos from my vacation that I will forever cherish
Sandals St. Vincent you have left a lasting impact on my heart and thank you for such an incredible first trip.

Best Bartender at the resort
Nov 20, 2024Joan M
Our amazing bartender Shakena at Butch’s Chop House, she is making the best drinks based on your likes and dislikes. Nailed it every time. Thanks for making our vacay so special and spending time with us. It is extremely important to hire the right people and Shakena is that employee whom everyone wants…professional and personable.

Our visit to Sandals in Saint Vincent was absolutely amazing, and a big part of that was thanks to the incredible service provided by Kimo, the bartender in the lobby. Kimo went above and beyond to make sure our experience was unforgettable.
Not only did Kimo make the best drinks on the island, but he also took the time to get to know us and make us feel like VIP guests. His friendly personality and attention to detail truly set him apart from the rest.
Kimo was always there to make sure we had everything we needed in the main lobby. His recommendations for drinks and local attractions (Live Piano Covers - amazing) were spot on, and we felt like we were in the best hands possible.
Overall, our time at Sandals in Saint Vincent was made even more special thanks to Cadence Travel (Thank You everyone at Cadence! You're the best!).
We can't wait to come back and will tell all of our friends and family of this great destination!
Thank you, Cadence Travel, Sandals, and Kimo, for making our visit one to remember.

It is a beautiful resort. We overall enjoyed the time. Outstanding at this resort is the friendliness of the staff and all people on the island. The resort offers a variety of pools, with the infinty pool by the beach being our favorite. The staff makes sure you are taken care off and the resort was kept very clean. It is a larger resort, therefore the bikes came in handy and were a cute add on to the resort. We found food options a bit limited. If you are a true seafood lover you will be fine but other options are rather minimal, with smaller menus in all restaurants. Butch's was as always our favorite. The restaurant Baccan was a very neat experience of the local cuisine and once again friendliness and kindness of the island people. Not to be missed. Local spices are wonderfully added to all dishes.
The dive team was exeptional and the underwater world still in tact. My husband enjoyed diving twice a day and I did the snorkeling that is offered from the resort.
We had the one bedroom butler suite with garden view and tranquilty tub. The suite was beautiful and plenty big. Downfaults were that there are no hooks to hang your towels in the bathroom, no outlet near the mirror or sink to use a blow dryer or razor.
The biggest disapointment to me was the uncovered patio. I love to sit and enjoy my morning coffee on the porch or run a bath in the tub in the evening. Both is not possible during the season it rains, due to no cover over it. The furniture are constantly soaked. I felt for what we paid for the room, this was definitely a big deal not to have.
Our butler service was good but not outstanding. Having sent a letter with our minimal expectiations ahead of time we felt a lot was missing. They were very sweet and attentive during the day and helped with pool seating and dinner reservations but the little things like decorations etc were missing. It was apparent that this was our anniversay trip and in other resorts they made sure we felt special during that time. After giving feedback to the butler manager we received a little better service.
A few things to know about the resort. The flooring in a lot of areas is very slippery. Slippery to the point that i often took off my shoes, so I would not fall. We heard the same from a lot of other guests. The walkways get flooded during rain fall. We had to take off our shoes going to dinner as we often encountered standing water about 1 foot deep. Several bathrooms had no soap at any given time or tissues/ hand dryers to dry your hands. If you didnt get a towel in the afternoon for the next day you were out of luck as pool towels came in late and ran out immediatly. While it was not a problem for us, having had the butlers, it was an issue for other guests.
We will defintely be back but will be more cautious on a room choice.
