The Sofitel hotel was very nice and cooperative in terms of hosting the conference I was attending. Housekeeping, especially Mazedul was very helpful in answering my questions and assisting with different requests to make my stay comfortable. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Second bigger complaint is half board package doesnt include water or soft drinks ! And even when you upgrade to premium drinks package like we did you can only have free drinks with your half board meal . Sofitel as a 5 star hotel, you have to be better than this with your half board+ drinks package ! Shame as everything else is perfect ! Read less

Just back from a 10 night stay at Sofitel Dubai The Palm. The hotel is beautiful! However, if you are a couple, be aware that this is a very family bias resort. If this doesn't bother you, then it may be the resort for you..... For us unfortunately, it was quite hectic despite the relaxing decor. Sun loungers are quickly reserved so be early if you want to secure your spot! We booked a Luxury Palm View room, which upon arrival I think we may have had the worst luck, situated directly above the Indian restaurant with pretty much no view, although, when we complained, it was resolved pretty much straight away. Breakfast was a little hectic (time dependant) but the selection was good. I did not like that the waiters persisted on a personal review after ordering just 1 coffee, this happened 3 times, all 3 did nothing special to warrant a personal review, which leads me to believe that the reviews on this list with personal mentions are not exactly accurate. The service as a whole was good. The gym was actually one of the best I've visited in a hotel/resort, if you are a 'Crossfitter', the gym has a Concept 2 ski & row erg, an assault bike & assault runner. Despite some of the above quibbles, we did really enjoy our stay, although due to the family vibe we would probably not make a return, sadly. Read less
