After caring for my mother for a few years, it felt wonderful to be taken care of. The Palms did just that. I fell in love with Jamaica all over again thanks to the Palms and the beautiful people that work here. I will be back to enjoy the people, the food, music, atmosphere and the beach! Thank you to everyone!!!

Spent a very happy time away at Sunset at the Palms in Negril Jamaica and let me tell you - this place is magic. Deluxe ‘treetop’ room surrounded by tropical gardens and towering palms. So fun! Comfortable air conditioned accommodation with well appointed amenities, stocked mini fridge, beautiful views off the balcony with sitting for two and a daybed to stretch out on. Like nothing I’ve stayed in before - loved it. You can read about the resort itself on the website: thepalmsjamaica.com, but one of the highlights of this property are its people. The welcome and care received throughout our stay was incredible. You are treated like gold here by each and every one of the staff with a friendly greeting or any assistance you may need. You are their priority. You’ll meet and have your own experiences with staff, but I have to mention a few that made our stay memorable: Benji, our personal airport shuttle driver - super chill. Bianka, our personal concierge: thank you for keeping us in the loop during our stay and the hugs as we left for home, you are pretty special. To all the many wonderful bar, resort, beach and grounds crew: Britany, Cornelius, Tamika, Easy Peasy, Kevon, Leon, Jason, Lester, Piano Paul (a must see) and the many MANY others for their warm smiles and gracious service, thank you. To Donna Grant, Hotel Manager - you’ve done a fantastic job in guest services. Your resort is 5 Star. Easy to see why you have so many repeat guests - at times it felt like a family reunion happening all around us. Well Done! Read less

We had an absolutely magical 5-day getaway. A perfectly chill few days on the beach and poolside, including a trip to the spa, and some great cocktails and excellent food (the Chef's Showcase night was a standout favourite). Most importantly, Sunset At The Palms had the warmest, friendliest staff you could imagine. It's no wonder we met many other guests who returned every year! We felt so welcomed and looked after at every moment from every single person — the concierge, all the servers, the chefs, the lifeguard and security personnel, even the crossing guard who makes sure you get safely across the road. A single offhand comment on the morning of our last full day there to one of the beach bar staff about missing out on snorkelling (the large catamaran needs 6 guests signed up), led to him introducing us to the captain of a reputable glass-bottom tour boat moored nearby. Within an hour we were on the water for a very reasonably priced private excursion! Bring cash, because the folks there earn their tips with gracious kindness and care. This small resort is all about relaxation, not loud parties. The private, individual cabins are elevated off the ground, set among lush gardens with birds, small lizards and chirping tree frogs. The dining areas are all under cover but except for the Lotus Leaf fine dining restaurant, they're open to the outdoors so you’re never far from greenery and the sounds of nature. So calming and restorative. The beach was quiet, the surf was gentle, and the sunsets are STUNNING. Read less

The hotel rooms are located in beautiful wooden structures; not the usual concrete hotel type. We stayed in the King Bedroom and it was very comfortable, no complaints. The staff is made up of the most courteous people we ever met; everyone is there to greet and help you. The food is outstanding with multiple choices of a la carte and buffet restaurants. I mostly ate fish always fresh and delicious. There are multiple bars on the property to satisfy anyone's thirst! The beach is amazing, you won't be disappointed: fine sand and crystal-clear warm water. The resort also offers free water sports. We had the wonderful experience of swimming in the Caribbean Sea while raining; it was exhilarating! If you need time to escape your busy life there is no better place to find relaxation! Read less
