The hotel

Looking to do your Miami vacation in style? Look no further. The meticulously designed Miami Beach EDITION offers beachfront luxury combined with the stylish, cool vibes that scream Miami. With a range of rooms available, it's the bungalows that really stick out to us - they offer that bit more room and privacy in the resort, and you can even upgrade to one with a private plunge pool on your terrace if you fancy. Now when it comes to dining, you have to experience the innovative dishes in the Matador Room, designed by Michelin-starred Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten. But don't worry, there's plenty of casual options too, and you can even enjoy food and drinks from Tropicale on the comfort of your sun lounger. Now Miami isn't short of bars and entertainment, but if you're sticking close to home, take a trip down to the BASEMENT, where you can bowl, drink and even ice-skate your night away.

The location (mid-beach; about 2 miles north of south beach) was PERFECT. It's far enough away from the hype and madness of south beach, creating a peaceful and luxurious environment, but close enough to feel the excitement of the Miami Beach area. I was in paradise. As a Titanium Elite Bonvoy Member, this was the first property i was able to stay at after officially becoming a Titanium member. Marriott did not honor my Elite Award upgrade request, however Julie (the manager on duty) was kind enough to upgrade me into their Ocean Front 1-bedroom Suite at check-in. This room was PHENOMENAL! I want to personally thank Julie for pulling her Managerial strings to get me into this room; it made the trip EXCELLENT. If i ever return to Miami Beach, i'm definitely coming back here again. P.S. - The food at the Pool Grill was excellent! Read less

Just gorgeous through and through - I don't think any hotel can live up to this one! Love the complimentary water throughout the stay and everything you might need has been considered. Loved the saltwater pool and the citrus rainwater. Breakfast was pricey but so delicious. Flawless in everyday!

It truly pains me to write this review because the Miami Edition Hotel has been my absolute favorite place to stay in Miami Beach since it opened, rivaled only by Faena. Unfortunately, my recent stay left me shocked and disappointed. There were several issues that need immediate attention, and I hope management takes this feedback seriously to restore the hotel to its former glory. Firstly, the rooms are in desperate need of updates. The wear and tear are too evident to ignore. Secondly, the housekeeping standards have drastically declined. Upon arrival, my toilet was unclean, and despite calling to address it, no one responded until my second call. Additionally, I found a dirty handprint on the leather headboard, six dead gnats on the bathroom wall, and stains on my sheets. Despite leaving a note requesting a change of sheets, housekeeping did not comply. I was also uncomfortable to find that housekeeping had entered my closet and moved all my clothing to one side. The room service trolley was filthy, and the beach towels provided were grossly inadequate. Overall, the hotel is in need of a significant refresh. Please take these concerns seriously so that the Edition can continue to be an exceptional destination in Miami. It’s disheartening to see it decline. Read less
Image of the Tripadvisor rating Great, but there’s an issue about the smell starting from the enteance and continuing ‘till we pass all the restaurants.

Everything is very nice. The staff, the rooms, the food is absolutely fantastic. The one problem we encountered was the smell of food that starts by entering the hotel and continues until we pass all the restaurants. It might seem small, but we felt the smell of food on us while walking outside the hotel and got worried we actually smelled like… Read more

We visited the Miami Beach Edition in order to eat at the Matador Room. A very elegant hotel with a casual fine dining tapas restaurant. Wonderful service and very attentive. Magdalena guided us well through the tapas experience and made my birthday dinner very special.
