Conclusion: The RC TCI would be a great Marriott, good Westin but is an inadequate Ritz. In short, the property feels way too big to execute RC luxury service. Property: The campus is beautiful, detailed landscaping at the pool and beach. Integration with nature is seamless. WiFi, however, is inconsistent at best, it went down for extended time throughout our stay. Rooms: Well appointed and wonderful. Very clean. Gym: Small and not clean. Equipment is down (tread, water dispenser) and there is only one set of weights for the entire campus. After 7 AM, demand overwhelms supply. Arrival: Dysfunctional. Room assignments and luggage delivery were disorganized and slow. Luggage had to be delivered and then re-delivered. F&B: Staff is clearly frustrated. Servers roll their eyes at table assignments. On the beach, we waited an hour and forty minutes for a Caesar salad. At the pool, two hours and twenty minutes for fried calamari. We learned to order lunch at 10 AM so that we could get our orders by noon (restaurant opens at 1130). Bonvoy: The program is disregarded and the property does not follow the guidelines. There is no acknowledgement of status, late checkout was an unnecessary argument, points for stays are not rewarded. No one at the property contacted us during the stay to check-in. Service Heroes: Florence and Deja (Front Desk), Lillian (Housekeeping), Herbie and Calvin (Beach). In short, property charges RC prices but delivers three to four star Marriott service, although there are individual standouts. Therefore, due to the poor value for price paid, it is impossible to recommend this property. Management needs to commit to providing a Ritz experience, it is not close to where it needs to be. We love our visits to The Ritz! We are always well taken care of and welcomed by the warmth of familiar faces. Stanwick Bloem, Ashish and Anna always take great care of us from family brunches to cocktails at the lobby bar - service and quality are unmatched. Noori is one of my favourite restaurants on island, casual atmosphere and the best eats! I would make specific recommendations but everything is incredible! The grounds are beautiful and always well manicured, our kids really enjoy breaking their time up between the beach and pool. I've really enjoyed my experience at the spa, especially access to the sauna and hot tub before my massage - really makes a difference in relaxing the muscles. Lastly the boat experiences offered by the hotel through Red Hospitality are phenomenal, from group days on the Lady Grace to private charters on Pineapple Express - best staff and best boats on island. I have nothing to say about the rooms, I didn't stay in them but visited the lobby bar with the rusted ceiling speaker box and the dirty plastic decor over the bar so the dust can fly in your food and the the sauna hot casino with no ATM several times. I will be updating my review as I progress. But this is first impressions. So far - terrible experience for any Marriott but certainly for Ritz. I am lifetime platinum, titanium member. Told the property when I am arriving. So far still no room after sitting for 1hr 10 min. The attitude is we are Ritz, you should be thankful to be here. Once I… Read more

We had a terrible experience at this resort. The customer service was the worst we had ever experienced. We had to chase the waiters for service even though only a few people were by the pool. We had a terrible experience at this resort. The customer service was the worst we had ever experienced. We had to chase the waiters for service even though only a few people were by the pool. AC in the room was not working for some reason, our rooms were not cool enough. Room service was bad, the restaurants were average and everything was overpriced (10% gratuity included for horrible service). We have been to Beaches at Grace Bay several times, which is 10 times better than the Ritz. I do not recommend this resort and will never be back. Read less
