Where is it

Set on its own 900m stretch of private shoreline, on Jumeirah Beach, alongside Dubai Marina and a 5-minute walk to Marina Walk and JBR walk. Emirates Golf Club and The Montgomerie golf course are a short drive away. Walkable distance from the newly built Mina Seyahi tram station. Transfer time from Dubai International Airport: 35 minutes.

10/10 services all the time, friendly staff. Especially staff such as Nishanth. Always went above and beyond to provide the best service possible. As well as Joseph who always made sure we were comfortable and we had the best holiday possible whilst here. Both staff members went the extra mile always.

We stayed at the Westin for 8 nights. It’s truly a beautiful hotel with amazing grounds. We stayed all inclusive which I highly recommend especially if you don’t want to worry about the cost adding up. There are a number of restaurants included both inside the Westin and the neighbouring hotel. Each restaurant we tried we never felt restricted due to being all inclusive. The menus were wide and varied in each restaurant. Food everywhere is to a very high standard. The staff are super attentive and welcoming especially to our daughter. The special brunch and roast events are not included. The all inclusive drinks menu is fine a little limited in regard to cocktails. You must wait until after 12 before you order alcohol but otherwise there is no restrictions as such. Order as many as you want. I did however find the mini bar restrictions very odd. You get a couple of beers and no refills. A wider choice would be appreciated. I did feel having a 7 year old child that there was also a number of restaurants excluded. Speaking to others those excluded seem to growing each year. I don’t understand for example why the steak restaurant can be open to families on a particular night or time. Just to give families the opportunity to experience it. The pools are beautiful and water park was a fantastic extra. My daughter had great fun and actually didn’t want to us to book the Atlantis for the day! The staff around the pool need praised. They are amazing always looking after you with sunbeds, towels and drinks and this isn’t easy due to the heat- but always with a smile on their face. We did feel at night there is little to do especially for families. I know others said the same. We don’t want pubs or loud bars but a family friendly, relaxed area would be nice. The lobby is not this. It feels a little formal for children. Just a relaxed bar space where children can chat and play card games etc. possibly with a little music. I would have given 5 stars however, our last minutes in the hotel were a little ruined. We were told at check in due to early check out with our flight we could order a breakfast box to go. The night before we left my husband asked about this at reception. He was told that from 6 onwards minas could offer cold items to take away just to go down. I went down at 6.40am explained this to the girl behind the desk. She seemed very confused and said “are you sure”. I explained again what we had been told and that I just wanted pancakes and fruit etc. she called the head waiter over and he explained the hot items weren’t ready. I reassured him I knew this and we just wanted cold things. He was happy and as we started to walk away the lady from behind the desk waved her hands at me and said very sternly “only for the child”. I thought it was incredibly rude. We had paid for breakfast that morning for 3 adults and I should not have been made to feel like I was taking what I didn’t deserve. I spoke to reception about this. We had a truly amazing stay with the most amazing staff and I was sad this was our final experience of the hotel. I felt sad she ruined it for us. Read less

Half way through our stay and couldn’t find fault with anything or anyone. Hotel is spotless and rooms maintained to very high standards. Food at various on site restaurants is excellent and kids well catered for . During the day we have been well looked after by Abishek with great customer service and a friendly manor
