Beautiful hotel with well kept grounds and lovely pool area and bars. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great views of the bay from dining room bar and pool but rooms are further inland. We have since moved to another, good, hotel in Blue Bay but Veranda is a class above. Good food, with a few staples and other options varying daily. Can be noisy if staying near reception due to nearby nightclub but we stayed in an apartment at the other end of the complex which despite being right by the road was quiet and it gave better access to the town. Overall this hotel exceeded expectations. Read less

Image of the Tripadvisor rating Nice location - not enough chairs to enjoy it

No fan in the room - not enough chairs to sit by the pool or the water - which is the whole point of going there. Too loud by the nightclub - and they didn’t have ear plugs at the front desk

Rooms are cleaned every day, beds are big and very comfortable, nice bathroom, safe for valuables, there's lots of security guards positioned day and night to ensure your safety. Restaurant is lovely, we stayed bed & breakfast and the breakfast menu had lots of choices. Pool is lovely, there's no pressure to get a sun bed in the mornings as there are plenty to go around. Lovely view of Grand Baie from the beach. Lots of free water sports too. We had a perfect holiday here. Read less
