Bang on trend, this hotel’s industrial-meets-chic styling is completely in keeping with its neighbourhood, the fast-flourishing Seaport district. Its spot in this trendy borough’s pretty enviable too, just across the road from its coolest hangout space, Lawn on D, which hosts food trucks, live events, and free yard games and WiFi. Inside the hotel there's plenty to offer too, a suitably contemporary indoor pool space, live entertainment at D's Keys Dueling Piano Bar or W XYZ Bar, and 24-hour dining and fitness - ideal whatever time you return from exploring Boston’s most famous attractions. From the Freedom Trail to the shopping around Faneuil Hall, the city’s biggest draws are all within a couple of miles.

Room is a bit small but well designed. Lighting is too dim to read. One chair and a built in desk.
Pool is a slash salt water pool. Don't plan to swim laps. 3.5 foot to 5 foot depths. Heated and really lovely as an aerobic workout if you know how to run in the water. I recommend some weights in the adjoining gym and then run in the water. I maybe got 6 strikes for the length. Both are close to the elevators so you can hop in. Towel up and up to your room. Would be nice to have simple robes for the back and forth.
Don't bother with the breakfast add on. Fast food type sandwiches and typical fare you would find complementary at an average road motel.
Be prepared for parking fee at $50+ a day. But you can pick up and return your car multiple times per day without an extra charge and there is valet service.
Wxyz bar is ok.
All in it's about a 3.5 but could easily jump up for a little attention to the amenities

Location is perfect and the hotel is so clean! Staff is super friendly. Taz went above and beyond and made our check in experience a delight. Akbar was extremely helpful ensuring my wake up call was set up for work. Could not be happier with my choice to stay at Aloft!

Jody was absolutely Amazing. Super friendly and accommodating. Thank you for a great customer service. She went above and beyond.
Loved the room. Very comfortable, spacious and clean. The only thing that was missing was a luggage rack in the room. But besides that, exceptional.

The heater fan is a bit loud but I still slept so that’s a thumbs up. The coffee in the room was really good. We were greeted at the front desk by Jody amazing hospitality friendly answered all of our questions. Fantastic experience room was comfortable. The heater fan is a bit loud but I still slept so that’s a thumbs up. The coffee in the room was really good. They could change up the teabags from English breakfast to chamomile to maybe some Earl Grey, and maybe mint for some other type of herbal tea. I wish they had the pillow mist available here that’s always extra special and I know us travelers appreciate that.
