Can do better

Great location. Room was spacious and clean with all modern amenities. Elevators banks saves lot of time.
Cons - Prices are over the board. I know it’s Vegas but how does one justify a bottle water for $15?
Service is not up to the mark. Check in can take forever.
Sky Suites

Love the Sky Suites. They have a lounge with snacks, coffee, juices and soft drinks. Nice sitting area. You have to show your room key to access the Sky Suites and lounge. Rooms are nice, beds are comfy. Would definitely recommend. If you have a host, request these rooms.

I typically stay at the Cosmopolitan for business, while my husband prefers the Encore. This trip was for leisure, and we chose Aria based on its reputation. Unfortunately, our experience did not meet our expectations. As frequent travelers for both business and leisure, we simply wanted a clean room without unpleasant odors. I believe that MGM and Marriott can do better, as I have had positive experiences at your properties in the past.
Upon checking into our standard room on Thursday evening, my husband and I were greeted by a foul odor that we suspected was vomit. There were visible stains on the marble floor in the entryway and throughout the bathroom. I immediately contacted the front desk to request a room change but was informed that the hotel was fully booked. The front desk manager assured me that housekeeping would be sent to clean the floor. We left for dinner, and upon returning a few hours later, the smell persisted. It appeared that housekeeping had only tidied the bathroom without addressing the odor or the floor. I then made a third call to the front desk, expressing our inability to stay in that room due to the smell. Fortunately, the manager I spoke with this time found us another room and sent a bellhop, Caleb, to assist with our bags. He was incredibly helpful! Although the new room was smaller, it was free of unpleasant odors, and we settled in.
On Friday morning, while preparing for the day, I encountered another issue: there was no electrical outlet in the bathroom for my hairdryer. After searching for a hidden plug, I called the front desk and learned that we were in a “Wedge Room,” which unfortunately lacks bathroom plugs. I explained my need for an outlet, and Nayla from the front desk was exceptionally kind, offering to find us a room with a bathroom plug. She even personally delivered the new keys. I appreciate her assistance, but this meant we were moving to a third room in less than 12 hours.
And what did the MGM properties/Marriott do for us other than inconvenience? Nothing.

Far from friendly staff

I have stayed in many hotels, but the FD staff is far from friendly and not trained. They didn’t have basic knowledge and had an unwelcoming mien. Not good.i would not recommend it. In fact, i may get in touch with corporate some of the issues were that bad
