This hotel is one of the WORST EXPERIENCES EVER! We travel a lot and usually stay at Hilton properties but I decided to try this hotel because of its location and I REGRET IT! They charge a ridiculous $59 a day for “ valet parking “ which implies paying for valet service and not just a parking spot . The first evening we arrived , 3 ladies , we pull up to the front of the hotel and the valet guy stays standing at the podium while we struggle to go into the hotel to find a cart for our luggage . He sees us unloading the vehicle with heavy luggage , he does not move for checking his phone ??? I finally go get him and by this time I am upset and said ,” isn’t this your job”? He lets me load everything on the cart , takes it to the lobby and leaves it there ??? What kind of low down hotel is this ??? We struggled to get the cart into the elevator and to our room ! Yet we pay for valet “service” ??? The hotel room stunk , no soap , few towels , no pods for coffee , etc This hotel is lacking in many ways !! “Choice Hotels “ ? 👎 NOPE , HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! 1 guy for valet and sometimes no one there ? Very nice rooms and great location! The beds are good quality and the A/C worked well which was important to me. If you’re shrewd you can also find street parking overnight on a Sunday night (I did). Cambria hotels never disappoint, always a really good value for the money.

Not the hotel you want to bring kids or go on business lot of weed lotta smoking weed a lot rap, music. Surprised It was part of the tradeshow listed hotels. Staff really poor breakfast buffet is not edible and coffee isn't free. There are a lot of hotels cheaper and nicer safer within two blocks of this place

My husband had a conference near the convention center and the conference hotel was completely booked. I'm not super familiar with DC so I wasn't sure where to stay. I booked the Cambria based on location, reviews and price. My daughter also recently moved to DC so we tacked on a couple of days before the conference so we could visit with her. We stayed for 6 nights at the Cambria and it was a good experience. It's not luxurious but our room was very spacious and the hotel itself is in a good location. Lots of dining options, close to the convention center and a grocery store at the end of the block. The staff was always amazing, especially the manager Mr. Wilson. He made sure we were well taken care of. We utilized the rooftop seating area and the laundry facilities. The laundry room was one of the best I've used in a hotel. The Cambria was clean and comfortable. Given what other hotels are charging in the area, I would say the Cambria is very good value for the money. It was very easy to use Metro or Lime bikes to get around. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel for someone looking for a nice comfortable place to stay and not fussy about luxury. Read less

The air conditioning did not work in the room they gave me. I immediately complained and was told there were no other rooms. After hours of sweating I could not take it and went to lobby at 4:00am to demand another room.
