July 4th stay at Fairfield Inn & Suites was really fun. Robert at front desk was so nice & considerate, checked us in to a very comfortable room, Loved the roof top bar, location is excellent-easy in and out of the city. Breakfast included was awesome. Parking right next door. We will be back!

Exceptionally welcoming and friendly staff. Every interaction with them was easy and supportive. Plus, the room we had (a city view deluxe queen) was a reasonable size for a midtown hotel at this price range. Clean and appeared to be recently refurbished.

My general expectation of NY hotels is that they are either outrageously expensive or disgusting and gross. This was neither. It was not a bad price. The room was small and basic, but clean, modern, and entirely satisfactory. My only real complaint was that it was REALLY small. I mean barely enough room to walk between the bed and the… Read more

Had I had my wife with me, we would have been tripping over each other, but it worked just fine for just me. Read less

Rooms: These were typical for a chain hotel of this level and on the small side, as is typical of NYC hotel rooms. However the rooms were clean with the usual features. Other amenities:… Read more
I stayed 5 nights in this hotel while attending a professional meeting at the Javits convention center. Staff: The hotel staff were friendly and efficient. Rooms: These were typical for a chain hotel of this level and on the small side, as is typical of NYC hotel rooms. However the rooms were clean with the usual features. Other amenities: Breakfast was free though I never got there in time to try it. Ditto for the gym. Location: The hotel is within a reasonable walk of the convention center and right across the street from the new train pavilion of Penn Station. This made it easy to get to when traveling from out of town since Amtrak trains go into Penn station and the air train from JFK airport goes to Jamaica where you can transfer to a Long Island Rail Road train into Penn station. Subways from Penn station connect easily to other parts of the city. Overall I would definitely stay here again if attending an event at the convention center. Read less
