Excellent location with beautiful lake view. Excellent services by front and back office staff. We forgot and left behind some garment bags in our room, and the Lost and Found Team were very quick to assist us and forward the items to our next destination very promptly. The support service exceeds our expectations.

We had our wedding at the Fairmont Pacific Rim last week and stayed for two nights. The experience was absolutely wonderful. The staff was incredibly attentive, the venue was stunning, and every detail was meticulously handled. We couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate our special day. Highly recommend!

Great hotel all around, excellent location, everything touristy within a walking distance. Kids enjoyed the pool and everyone loved the breakfast options. We had a harbor view which we absolutely loved. Very close to Canada place which is the locations for shuttles to Capilano Suspension Bridge and other free shuttles.

My partner and I had the BEST stay at Pacific Rim! We were celebrating my partner's birthday, and everyone we mentioned it to made it extra special. She was elated and had one of the best birthdays she has ever had. From the very beginning, Anastasia was wonderful while checking us in. She made everything special. Jason (also at the front desk) was excellent in coordinating a shipment I needed delivered to the hotel and getting it up to my room for me while I was out. Our room was absolutely gorgeous and one of the nicest rooms I have ever stayed in. Housekeeping did an incredible job each day, and admittedly, this is the first time I had learned about ‘turndown service’. They even coiled my electronics cables, which I don’t think I have ever seen before. In-room dining did a great job delivering a birthday surprise for my partner, and staff checked in later to make sure our champagne was still bubbly because we were out when it was delivered. We went to the Botanist each morning and once for dinner. Breakfast staff was outstanding: Camille (who we were very happy to have twice!), Stoyan, Lucy, Gabriel, JC, and Saldy. For dinner, Jaryd was a rockstar, delivering an impeccable dining experience that was one of our favourite dinners we have ever had. The food is on another level — Jaryd taught us a lot about the head chef, the dishes, and more interesting details. Bella was superb at the lobby bar. One of the dishes we ordered was chicken wings, and when I inquired about any sort of wet napkins afterward to get the stickiness off my hands, she created her own solution by making their cloth napkins into warm wet naps for us! I want to emphasize that every single person at this hotel is trying their best, and they’re doing an amazing job. Fairmont Pacific Rim is a MUST stay if you’re planning on visiting Vancouver. I will return to this hotel, no doubt! Thank you to everyone for being so wonderful. Read less

If there was a -0 I would totally today give it to the Pacific Rim Vancouver and I mean negative ZERO, please make sure your booking is first acknowledged by the the person like Mr KEN KIM and his beautiful Ms Sonia who are technically in charge of booking of the gold floor, I had to wait 2hrs and 10 mins coming very tired from Victoria the Gold floor staff was so rude and not welcoming instead upsetting to add to the situation we checked in the room with such a disgusting and pathetic service the stench of the room was fit was animals, only when I complained the house keeping lady wanted to come and send me again flying for another wait of time at this time knock on the door time and again was so irritating, the icing on the cake after I emailed Mr Moesker, the VP who was not in the building but I think asked this creature of God MR.smarty pants BRANDON LAMB to call but instead of making the situation better he asks me to leave the property the hotel and go to another hotel as has no place for my family at this time my family and I were drained of everything all the energy we had been crushed to death it was like the circus you see in cirque du soleil with characters like Ken Kim running like a mad hatter around us it happened from the beginning but only grew worse at the end until I left drove back home at night with my family highly stressed, my husband who has had a stroke a year ago in the same hotel and I definitely was going to be the recipient of a heart attack or I have no clue what next my blood pressure was to the roof my anxiety level was unbearable it was the WORST WORST worst nightmare ever in our travel history my family and I are so sick right now but I am relieved to be back home some how going through last night darkest horrible pain, I have personally seen this happen to other loyal guest on the gold floor with Ms Pantea Rod in the past but I did in a million years happen to my family especially after staying at the Empress hotel in Victoria what a heaven and Hell difference in the quality of hospitality, food service, first check in reception to the T until I left it was nothing other than amazing in every way thank you Mr Dan , Mr Jason ,Ms Karen and my most memorable person MR. IWVIRN. Can the Pacific Rim learn from them even though the Empress is family oriented and the Pacific Rim is a night club I was told please change, the staff who we have seen give the guest a very hard time a run for your money as they take their hospitality jobs for granted or have been there for years and they think they don’t have to change they are there for only the money and show glamour.
