The Fairmont Washington DC is a great location within easy walking distance to view 4th of July fireworks from multiple locations. You do not need to walk all the way to the Mall to see the fireworks. There are several locations with great viewing spots a short walk from the hotel. The hotel is easy walking distance to restaurants, shopping and other activities in the West End and Georgetown areas. Lots of great restaurants, shopping and site-seeing areas. The hotel staff are very helpful in making recommendations for guest activities. They also provide great service to guests to ensure they enjoy their stay. Recommend having dinner or late evening snacks in the lobby lounge area. Great variety of comfortable sofas and chairs to enjoy a meal or snack. The bar and lounge staff are very attentive to customer requests for food and beverages. We enjoyed a wonderful evening in the lounge before walking to view the fireworks. The front desk team members did an excellent job of checking in guests and inquiring if guests had any special requests for their stay. Great guest services. Looking forward to returning again soon! Beautiful hotel. Great service at valet and bell hop. Booked over the phone - at check in, couldn’t provide connecting rooms despite having requested. Woken up by squeaking wheels on towel cart!! Excellent room cleaning service. Pool is not worth visiting - small are shared by gym that also allows outside membership. Really nice bar in lobby.… Read more

This is a frat house now, this place is full of college kids and there is no staff. Over an hour to check in. Concierge not interested. Bartenders only give $5s and $10s in change which is really awkward. Fairmont used to be a luxury brand but I think those days have ended.

We were so pleased with our stay at the Fairmont. From check-in to check out it was a seamless experience. The concierge service on the Gold floor is wonderful. They were so accommodating to all of our allergies and did everything to make sure that our stay was perfect. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The service was top-notch. All I interacted with were friendly and professional. The room was sparkling clean, spacious and quite comfortable. The hotel was quiet, allowing a great night's sleep. This hotel is well-located in the Georgetown area close to the metros and to additional amenities. Highly recommend.
