Great hotel for our visit to Toronto. Within walking distance of many sites, transit not far, and parking under the hotel. Room was a good size, very clean, with very comfortable beds/pillows. Staff throughout the hotel was extremely friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was very good, with a good sized breakfast area, and coffee and tea are available throughout the day. Breakfast is offered for three hours, but can get crowded closer to closing. If back in the area I would definitely look to stay in the Holiday Inn Express. Read less

This hotel is a great central downtown location. The rooms and hotel were very clean and modern. Close to St Lawrence Market, Front Street, and Younge Dundas Square. The staff were super helpful and very knowledgeable about the area. I would highly recommend this location.

The room was well appointed and the beds comfortable. Hotel is in quite a good location with main attractions walkable. The breakfast was the worst quality I have ever experienced. Really low quality food which you have to eat with plastic knives and forks which barely cut anything. If you want a basic no frills stay then this is for you.

Even their manager was trying to cover for his employees I booked a room there for three nights. When I went there to check the room the room has hair all over the bed went to the bathroom was very very dirty did not even clean when I opened the drawer. There is a still some stuff in there Housekeeping left a lot of stuff when I went down and spoke with the manager. He said if you don’t like it, you can leave I will cancel your reservation. He was Indian. I couldn’t even understand his accent very very strong most of the word I don’t even know what he was saying. They don’t respect customers with all that they were very dirty again I’m saying they were very dirty. I will never go back to any Holiday Inn just because that bad experience I had in this Holiday Inn. Read less

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel for a 4 night work trip and would definitely stay again next time I'm in Toronto. The staff were all great and v accommodating to my requests. My room was spacious (by European standards) and the bathroom and shower were good, decent toiletries and no problem with hot water. It's only a 15min walk from Union station, and I really liked the location just on the edge of the main downtown area so that there are some smaller more 'local' feeling restaurants around (Cafe Oro di Napoli just across the road was great for pizza), but you are still close to everything downtown. St Lawrence market is v close by too. Great tram and subway connections. My room had a nice view on onto the St James's park and church in front. Lifts were quick and efficient getting up and down. Breakfast was fine, although 'scrambled' egg appeared to be chopped up cubes of hard omlette which was odd, and it was a real pity that we had to eat on paper plates and with disposable cutlery. As a tea drinker I would have liked a kettle in my room as the hot water that came out of the coffee machine in the room wasn't hot enough to make decent tea, however, there was v hot water (and more coffee) available in reception 24/7 if you needed it. In spite of these small issues I would definitely stay here again. Read less
