The hotel

After 30 years of welcoming guests under the name of Bally's, the hotel has been renovated and we're ready to introduce you to Horseshoe Las Vegas! With all the famous amenities, but spruced up to give that extra bit of glamour, you're sure to find everything you need here - from shops to restaurants, and plenty of bars and shows. There’s the casino too of course, with its traditional reels, video poker, slots machines and roulette tables but, if Lady Luck and you have been flirting too much, head on over to the oversized poolside — it’s rocking. And yes, we do mean literally, with DJ music, private cabanas and plenty of shaded areas thanks to the palm trees! Being in the centre of the strip is great for enjoying all that Vegas has to offer, and it's also great when it comes to hotel room views too - choose between High Roller views, looking out on the South of the Strip, or our personal favourite, the fountain view. Whichever room you pick here, you're sure to have a blast.

I had a horrible experience with Horseshoe when I stayed with them this past week. I was met with unprofessional and horrifying behavior by the hotel manager, TJ. My family and I were resting in our hotel room before getting ready to go out when we were suddenly met with loud banging on the door. The person kept yelling which seemed to be DoorDash, but looking back it might have been something else. Regardless, at the time we were shocked. We mentioned we didn’t order anything and the person kept banging on the door continuously with no explanation. We had to call emergency services and they advised us to open the door. We were terrified and rightly so because the person wasn’t providing any form of identification or wasn’t explaining the situation. We opened the door, and the person mentioned that he thought we were overstaying our reservation, which was not the case at all. He then introduced himself as TJ. First of all, if that was the reason he should’ve started off with that instead of an abrupt banging. We had booked the hotel through Horseshoe, so it was shocking to see that their system isn’t up to date and to see their hotel manager, TJ, treat guests like that is very unprofessional and was a horrific experience. We had to talk to security and the hotel multiple times because their line of communication wasn’t clear at all. TJ mentioned he would give us a call after 10 minutes, but there was nothing. We had to call the hotel and were kept being put on hold and TJ got on the call after we had to be the ones to call them. He mentioned that we would be refunded for the rest of the stay, but that wasn’t the case. We still paid for our entire stay. This whole situation was a mess because of their lack of communication and horrible guest services. Safe to say, we will not be staying here again after the lies and mistreatment we faced. Read less

I have to be honest. We booked for Paris hotel and they sent us to horseshoe. I can only imagine they were overbooked. Paris rooms are far nicer as one of our relatives was staying in Paris. Horseshoe rooms while spacious and had comfy beds, were very plain. But the elevators were janky and had stains and carvings in the mirrors. But my main issue was the absolute rip off of everything. Wanna check in a couple hours early? 60 dollars! Want tea or coffee? There's none in the room so go and spend 20 dollars at Starbucks. Wanna go by the pool? Spend 45 dollars on one drink and you're not allowed to bring in outside drinks or food, forcing you to buy there. Want some shade at the pool? Buy a cabana for 2000 a day or a poolside villa for a few thousand more. And can people stop bringing kids to Vegas! It is not for kids! Kids are annoying and splash around the pool. People get baked and naked and drunk and swear. You really want your kids near alcohol and strip clubs and gambling? Great parenting 👍 But if you want a basic room and to be charged for everything and have screaming kids around then book this room. You choice. Read less

Worst hotel ever. Not a resort. Casino full of gray had from cigarette smoke. Rooms are filthy and in bad repair. Management is not available and staff is rude when you complain. $58 "resort" fee for absolutely nothing. If you have any respect for yourself, DO NOT STAY HERE.
