The hotel

Get the true Fisherman’s Wharf experience at this fashionable hotel. Hyatt Centric's red-brick design fits in well with its surroundings, and its arched windows frame famous attractions like Pier 39, Ghiradelli Square, and The Embarcadero. Step inside and see its exposed brick and industrial accessories, but with a chic ‘seaside hotel’ twist. For a treat, grab your towel and head to the courtyard pool and whirlpool. And why not end the day with a glass of local wine by the fireplace — and maybe a tasty crab and clam chowder?

Pros I rated this hotel a 4 because of the staff. From housekeeping to the valet and front desk teams to the staff at the breakfast area, they wanted to make a difference in your stay and it showed. Pros I rated this hotel a 4 because of the staff. From housekeeping to the valet and front desk teams to the staff at the breakfast area, they wanted to make a difference in your stay and it showed. It's hard to get a cohesive staff in hospitality these these days and I wanted to acknowledge their efforts. Comfy bed and clean, quiet room in a centrally located neighborhood. Cons (sorry) Excessive extra fees to hotel bill. Didn't feel safe outside near property. The hotel can't control the outside environment but this location didn't feel safe traveling solo from someone who travels lots. Decor is outdated. Common areas were fine but the hallways to the hotel rooms were dark and dingey. Maybe install better soft lighting? I've stayed at several Hyatt Centric properties before and felt this place didn't live up to that brand. Read less

I stayed 2 nights in a clean room by the pool. I enjoyed the Hot Tub both nights. It is centrally located and walking distance to the wharf, pier 39, and pier 33, cable cars and Ghirardelli. I will be back, Amazing Valet team and Front desk agents, I will be back!

I did not like the food offering on the sports bar place. Breakfast buffet on hotel was also just so so and I would have expected more choice. I did not like the food offering on the sports bar place. Breakfast buffet on hotel was also just so so and I would have expected more choice. You have to have your wits about you in the locality of fisherman’s wharf as there are some people hanging around and I did not feel safe being on own. Hotel is lovely though, and we were super happy with location and proximity! Would recommend but just the food options, associated with hotel, was lack luster! Read less

Nice hotel, located walking distance to fisherman’s wharf. Because of the high parking fee and being in SF we decided to take public transportation and Lyft/uber around to where we needed to go. Worked out great! Spend less and was a fun trip.

Amazing hotel, perfect location, extremely friendly and helpful staff. Can't wait to go back. Check in was easy and the staff were very patient with a very tired and confused me. So much great information given to us at the time which helped our stay a huge amount.
