Promising that coveted ‘loft living’ feel, Hyatt Centric Wall Street’s roomy rooms (starting at 345 square foot each) come with high ceilings, oversized panelled windows, and cool modern styling. As you’ll be tempted to ‘stay in’, they’ve thrown in complimentary WiFi. But you’re in Wall Street’s only hotel – so making the most of your surroundings is a must, even if you only make it as far as the hotel’s mezzanine floor for craft cocktails at Centric Bar & Grill, or its decadent buffet restaurant for American dishes and handcrafted cocktails.

Not much to say except it is just "meh." The heating/air system is poor, and the rooms are hot. It's not very convenient to get to coffee and the price is high. Service people are excellent though. Nice location, but you shouldn't just rely on your location for this price.
Please do yourselves a favor and stay elsewhere

Personal situation (might not apply to everyone and this has never happened to me so it might never happen to you either, but when it does, this is how the hotel handles it): I applied a Suite Night Award to this reservation. Hyatt confirmed the suite but my price never went down. I contacted Hyatt 20 times easily and they kept asking me to wait even 24 hours before arrival. My flight got delayed and I arrived 9 am in the morning (mind you I already paid for the previous night which is totally fine by me). I was way too tired to argue with the front desk so I check in and get to my room. Not only they didn't charge me for a standard room, they charged me standard price (not corporate or member price, but standard price) for the suite which was about $750 in Financial district. I asked them to check me out, they said you can't and now you have to stay for the rest of your nights. Eventually I was able to argue my way to check out early. So I basically paid $1500 for 5 hours stay at that hotel and moved to Hyatt Centric Times Square (much better hotel with heated bathroom floors). Overall, will not return.
Hospitality: The front desk lady was just rude and couldn't care less about the situation. She just kept telling me to speak with the manager if I want to talk more. I tried speaking with the manager (Erica and Pauline) but they couldn't care less. Mind you, I am a globalist, so you can imagine the treatment non-elites will get here.
Hotel and Breakfast: Not to mention, baseboards were all broken, chipped, drywall had dents, the condition of the $750 suite was terrible and mind you, this is a 5 star hotel. Breakfast was just bad. Cold buffet with sad looking sausage and scrambled eggs, costed $73 for 2 (before tip). Please do yourself a favor and avoid this hotel.

Lacking any luxury qualities

To advertise a luxurious 5 star hotel and charge a premium price without any of the expected or advertised amenities is exceptionally disappointing.

NYC Marathon Top Hotel to Stay!
Nov 5, 2024D2864QQkates
This hotel is EXCELLENT!! It's a 6 min walk to the Staten Island Ferry. We stayed here for the marathon. From the staff to the location, it was top notch and for NYC, very affordable. Also, very close to the subway which made travels enjoyable and budget friendly. I would give this hotel 10 stars if I could.

I am surprised there are multiple group of guests with same issues like mine.
In 2024 sep, I mistakely made non refundable reservation with wrong date. I got confused my flight schedule.
