Park MGM Las Vegas

The Strip, Las Vegas

Virgin rating

The hotel

The Las Vegas hotel scene’s buzzing with resorts vying for the limelight – and this Strip-side hotel’s ready to outshine them all. Reimagined and revamped, it’s super-sharp from design to dining. An outrageous tree root sculpture snakes over its lobby; and the garden influence continues with its forest green palette, the al fresco Provencal feel of its Primrose restaurant, and the elegant pool oasis, where swanky cabanas, sunken sun loungers, and poolside service evoke a South of France vibe around its three pools. Of course, Park MGM Las Vegas hasn’t forgotten its roots (or its location on that all-American mainstay, The Strip) so you also get State-side classics like Bavette’s Steakhouse & Bar (where the cool crowd slink straight to the back for a seat in a secret ‘speakeasy’ lounge). No wonder the Park MGM attracts headliners like Cher, Queen, and Lady Gaga.

Brewster is a part of the security team at MGM Park and if you get a chance to meet him he will upgrade your experience. He took the time to make sure our stay at the MGM was perfect. He is so personable, kind and friendly. My husband and I will be back!

I spent 3 nights here during the July heat wave. I was impressed with the rooms, very comfortable beds, great curtains, and surprisingly powerful showers. The Uber pick up/drop off is very easy. It's also pretty easy to move around, as you can take the tram to Belliago and then walk across a bridge to Caesar's Palace so plenty of options for moving around. Two things I didn't like. First: This hotel, like all the other strip hotels, has that 7pm pool close time, which makes it very difficult to enjoy the pool when attending a conference. Also, I was annoyed they didn't make exceptions to this rule considering there were record-breaking temperatures in Vegas at the time I went. Second: The Eatly section of the hotel, the food is ASTRONOMICALLY priced. As a business traveler, I get a $33 dollar per diem for dinner, and that wasn't enough to cover an order of spaghetti and meat sauce. Yes, spaghetti and meat sauce. Read less

First time staying at Park MGM. I chose it for it proximity to T-Mobile which I had tickets for an event. Best decision I’ve had a long time. Overall great experience.
