All right, rooms are ok and position is excellent, right on Times square. Hotel is quite old though, lobby and rooms. Double lobby, so you need to take two elevators to get to your room. Quite expensive for the quality offered. Yet, everything is expensive in New York, so, all in all, hotel is ok.

Overall positive experience, professional and courteous staff, good property and location and even when a problem came up the general manager was responsive and professional. I appreciated the responsiveness and despite the problem it was indicative of a well run hotel

We had the best stay, best time with you! And we are very grateful to Thaddeus Ajoloko, Saeed, Valentina, Taylor at front desk, the amazing concierge Brucha, and beyond delightful Manny at housekeeping! We've been visiting the US for 18 years by now. We stayed almost at every hotel at Times Square over the years, and in other neighbourhoods too, but we've never had such a great stay as with you at Renaissance New York Times Square! We even extended our stay 3-4 times and ended up staying 2 weeks total! :) From the moment we stepped in, it felt like home thanks to Thaddeus Ajoloko and his patience with us. (I had a few requests regarding the room.) He was absolutely awesome and so sweet, he instantly made us feel like at home. I always say first impressions matter, he made the best one! He lit up the room and our mood when we arrived. Such a kind soul with such positive energy! The next person to have greeted us was the amazing Brucha at the concierge desk on the upper floor. Even thought it was late and probably time for her to go home, she was so very kind to us, beautiful inside and out! She was very helpful and pleasant throughout our entire stay of 2 weeks. Valentina, Taylor, and Saeed from front desk were all amazing and very helpful too. At one point, Saeed even stepped out from his desk to ask how can he help us? I said, thank you, we are just checking out, no help needed. When he heard we're leaving, he offered to go outside to get a cab for us. Can you believe it? :) We didn't let him, we said we had an uber waiting for us. And Manny at house keeping was absolutely awesome! We already miss him. :) Everyone was very friendly, kind, and helpful. Like i said, we've been visiting NYC for 18 years by now, this isn't our 1st visit, but we never had such a pleasant stay. Your stuff made us feel like at home. Please thank them from us! :) And next time we are in the city, we will be staying only with you from now on. Happy Independence Day! Read less

We had a wonderful and exceptional stay at Renaissance Times Square hotel. It's the people that make the difference, and we felt right at home thanks to the outstanding staff. We arrived at the hotel tired from long travels, Mr. Thaddeus Ajoloko was at the front desk and checked us in. From the moment he greeted us and checked us in, our spirits lifted although we were tired. Thaddeus set the tone for a wonderful stay and arranged all to our liking with a nice smile that makes all the difference! Thanks to Thaddeus for taking care of us and the nice chats throughout our stay. All the staff was amazing at the front desk, Valentina and Taylor also put a smile on our faces. The concierge Brucha greeted us warmly each time we saw her, and offered to help us with anything we needed. The hotel has a good location, great and friendly staff (very helpful ) and a beautiful view. Room was clean and comfortable. We stayed on 17th floor, so the noise from the streets did not bother us at all. We had a very pleasant stay! Thank You!
