Bed Bugs!!! Bed Bugs!!!! Only stay if you want to take bed bugs home. I was moved twice only to find bed bugs in each room. Management has no concern. Seems like it was normal for them. If you decide to stay take bed bug spray. Spray down the side of the mattress don’t put anything on bed or floor. Leave for an hour if there are bedbugs they…

Check out and restaurant

We could extend the check out time for three hours after explaining our plans to visit other places. The receptionist listened to our request and understood our tourist needs. The food in the restaurant was excellent and had healthy options.
Dirty, overpriced, and badly in need of a refresh

Was here for a conference at the adjoining conference center. Don't let the close proximity to the Renasant tempt you to stay. Half of the people I traveled with had broken air conditioning in their rooms, some having it break in the middle of the night. Was here for a conference at the adjoining conference center. Don't let the close proximity to the Renasant tempt you to stay. Half of the people I traveled with had broken air conditioning in their rooms, some having it break in the middle of the night. I had to switch rooms as the first was 85 degrees and had ants crawling on the AC unit. The bathroom makeup mirror was broken and so were the racks holding the shampoo and conditioner. The second room was a little better but was still very dirty. There was a dirty washcloth left in the sink for the first two days. The duvet and carpet had dirt on it and part of the floor was sticky. The hallways are stuffy, humid, and musty, the elevators seemed like they are falling apart, and the skybridge to the conference center smelled like mold. As others have mentioned, the restaurant in the lobby is extremely expensive for what you get so don't bother. The hotel is also on the edge of downtown and we didn't feel very comfortable walking to places. The place really needs a refresh.

Group had BAD experience.

I booked a group to stay at the Sheraton in downtown Memphis. We wanted to stay there because the trolley comes in front of the hotel and drops off on Beale Street. From the start it was hard to get anyone to set up the block, couldn't get anyone to answer the phone. When I finally got through to the front desk, I asked for the General Manager, left a message and never returned a phone call. Finally, I got Ashley in sales to set it up. Once it was set up it took several calls for accounting to charge my card. Once we got to the hotel valet staff and front desk staff were very rude. We had to get management on the phone to get unloaded and parked. We set up to load at 5:30 am and were permitted to load under the canopy. The am valet staff came out using profanity cursing the bus driver, he was asked to respect his elders he said he didn’t care. Need better staff and those who will answer the phone. We shouldn’t have to pay and receive service like this. Group sales Ashley was the only decent staff member and helpful.
